That does not always apply, while it is a good saying, people that are overweight created the 'fat acceptance' movement off that saying, which the 'movement' is BS to me.
I would consider that phrase to be a half-truth, meaning that the personality is beautiful, because some people took it to a whole other level.
But, to you @Meawzy, you are not that old, and so seriously should view highly of yourself, at least to an extent so you don't become narcissistic.
Try to be encouraging to yourself and others.
