If you want to know your real IQ, you should NOT do a test on the internet, but an official test, taking like 2,5 hours. I did that test to see if I am highly gifted, which you are if your IQ is 130 or higher.
Mine was 130, so I am. It is not something to brag about, however a lot of people think it is. Instead, it gives some explaination to my behavior at school, but also at home; I can work for something really, really hard, but only if I want to
For example; I am really working hard to help the server, because I like it. I don't like school, so I do absolutely nothing for school, simply because I don't like to work for it.
Yeah, pretty much everything above. The abbreviation is exactly the same in English. It's a representation of one's potential.
That being said, I don't usually throw it around because once you pass 130, you kinda start to sacrifice other brain functions for intellect...
For example, I have ADD, which makes focusing largely difficult for me.
IQ scores can be rather insightful with things like that :P
But also just like what Kris said, don't get an online test, because those are very rarely accurate. If you want to learn your IQ score, I suggest you make an appointment with a specialist.
