stupid things you thought when you were younger

I thought I knew what love was back in like year 7. I tried to talk to too many people, speaking all wrong and like an idiot, and someone who had no idea what it was... basically resulting in most females disliking me. Thankfully I properly found out later on.

 

Awww mate let me tell you a story.

I thought I was a geezer back in Primary school, every girl was begging to be my girlfriend etc. Boy was I wrong. I got bored and started a youtube channel at 10 years of age. (The videos are all deleted.) And I got into trouble for calling someone an ass on one of my videos. I thought the police were going to get involved etc.

God I was a cringy lil shit.
Still am tbh.

 

Someone I know has a huge scar on her leg. When I was younger, she told me that every night she could zip her leg open and get cookies, but she also told me that it was like suuuuper secret so I couldn't tell anyone. So everyday I would get a cookie (I was such a dumb shit)

When i was 7, my sister told me one of the tiles on our bathroom wall was actually a button which lead to a secret club, and she would show me it for a pack of gum. I kept trying to buy a pack of gum and get her to tell me where it was.

And to this day i still dont know what tile was the correct one...

 

I've thought that for a really really long time lmao

 

I used to think that vanishing cream actually makes you invisible. I tried using some and to my surprise the cream disappeared but my arm didn't.

 

I remember me and my friends in primary school (like 3 or 4 years ago) used to eat that stuff like a drug, holy shit it was horrible.

I thought babies came out the anus

I have a brother named Michael and whenever my parents said "microwave" I thought, until I was about 5, that they were saying "Michaelwave" and named it after him or something. I remember getting pissed that they didn't call it a "Harrywave"

I thought all T.V shows were live and all songs on the radio were performed live, so I was always amazed when something I had heard before was played/showed again.

 

Sadly, I can't remember anything from my childhood.

Ok when I was in primary school I thought the ninja turtles lived in the sewer drain down the road from my school because I'd look at it and think: "It looks exactly like the flippin one from the Ninja Turtles!!". So one day I was walking towards the bus stop and because I was really curious I went to the sewer drain and tried to open it up. Now, back then I assumed you just lifted it like in the cartoons but this one, as I later discovered, you have to twist and pull to pull the metal cover off. So little me is on the side of the road tryna open this damn sewer drain and my finger got cut from the rusty metal. It was a pretty serious cut and the doctor that treated me was NOT equally as serious after hearing why I tried to pull open a sewer drain. :(

Oh boy I had plenty of things I thought of as a kid.

When I was about 6 years old, I lived in a small house with my family, Every night our houses old Air conditioner would kick on at night and due to the Metal on the vents it would make this really loud buzzing noise. Every time it turned on, I would scramble to pull the covers over me cause I thought there was a Giant eel-like Monster living in our A.C. vents and that if I fell asleep it would come out and Attack me. Also I was extremely scared of the dark so I slept with a night light most of my life.

Another thing I believed was that The Transformers were real, around 2007-2008 Every time I would see one of the vehicles that they used in the Movie, I would freak out and try to get a photo. As I got older however it turned out to be a load of crap.

Yeah, I was a very paranoid and very misled kid xD
