Chapter 5 "We are here." Dao said. He held a telescope over his eye. He had spotted the main docks of the capital of the Kingdom. "Good. I'm freezing." Hubble shivered. "There's a storm coming, I think." "There is." Yomc said huskily. Wind slapped them in the face with chilling cold. "Brrrr." Bunnie curled into a ball. "Coollddd." "Kick, this thing go any faster?" Homie asked, shivering. "The engine can't, I'm afraid." The magnate retorted. "When there's a storm, the wind isn't this cold." Dao observed, holding a thermometer. "17 degrees Celsius." "Now that's too cold." Demon commented, clutching his makeshift blanket closer. He covered his cold ears with it. "Do we just swim there?" Benjan quivered. "We can't. After all, we're so close." The group sent to visit and investigate the Kingdom had to shiver and tremble before they reached land. When they reached the dock, the surroundings was foggy, and their range of visibility was close to only ten blocks. Anything beyond ten blocks was invisible. The team disembarked the boat and stepped onto wood. It creaked, giving more mystery to the already creepy ambience. "Three torches. Three groups." Homie muttered. Homie went with Dao and Yomc. Rockor formed a group with Demon and Hubble. Benjan and Bunnie recruited Claire. "Torches." Yomc gave Benjan and Demon one for each group. Dao's group took the lead. Swordbearers unsheathed their swords. Rockor prepared his bow and arrow. Hubble's glowing sword whispered encouragement. Demon's saber of light illuminated even just a little. Claire held her spear tightly, the blue ball humming softly. "Anyone there?" Yomc decided to break silence. There was a lighthouse, but, it didn't emit any fog splitting light. It was extremely odd. There was no response to his shouts, only echoes of his own voice. "Weird. The docks should be full of people." Dao murmured. "Even though if this is actually a fishport, it should stink of fish. Do you smell any fish?" "No." Demon replied after taking a good sniff. "This isn't good." Bunnie growled. "I swear I could hear something. I don't know what, but I'm hearing something out of place." "Be alert." Dao reminded. Everyone gripped their weapons tightly and slowly advanced forward. /**/ "The missing person's house is a house made of wool just beside the BuildIt park." Spyke told Nes and Noc. They were standing in front of the park, or for others, BuildIt arena. The whole place was busy and alive. Players from the minigame laughed and conversed about the last game they played. People stormed in the arenas once they were open. It was a large infrastructure, accommodating a hundred rooms or so. "So, let's look for that wool house." Nes squinted, sights zeroed on any wool house. "Look, there." Noc pointed at a small house at the corner of an intersection. The two walked to it. There was a fence gate preventing them from entering. "Anyone here?" Nes shouted. "We're moderators!" "Oh?" There was a muffled voice inside. The door opened, revealing a chicken dressed in a Nyan cat costume. "Hi, Nyan. Know who lived here?" "Yeah. He went missing last week. I'm just here to guard his house. He was a good BuildIt player." Nyan said, remembering the guy. "Where did you last see him?" Noc asked. "When, too?" "I last saw him last week, the day he became missing." "The story, please." "Ah, okay." Nyan frowned a bit to help the memory to come. "We played a round of BuildIt, and it became nighttime. I decided to drop by my house first. He went to his own to wait for me. We agreed to see each other at his house. When I got what I need, I went here, but he wasn't here. I filed a missing person report at our lounge." "Mhmm." Nes hummed, scribbling Nyan's story on a small piece of paper. To be sure, Spyke recorded everything that happened. /**/ Wiki and Ganja arrived at SG and went directly to Gallade's house. "Mhel, we're here." Ganja reported. "Good. Now hop three steps to your right." Both jumped thrice to the right. "There. That's the house." "This house is exclusive only to Herobrines. Those houses have alarms, remember?" Wiki said. "Just get in. We disabled it." "Fine." He sighed, and then kicked the fence gate open. The pair barged in the door, destroying it. They were both halted by the ominous silence. No trace of struggle was there. The lights were left open, and they were flickering. Food was on the table, but it was infested with maggots and insects, hinting its age. "It smells. Ew." Ganja pinched his nose. "Whert der weer der nerxt?" "No trace of struggle. Nobody ate this food." Wiki brought out a clothespin and put it on his nose. He poked the food with a stick. "Yers. Nerberdy derd eart thurs." "There aren't any clues to where the owner is?" Mheljean asked. "Let us check more if this house." Ganja removed his hand from his face, surrendering to the smell of rotten overcooked food. "Hey, what the hell is this?" Wiki's attention was diverted to an out of place cloth on the ground. Ganja knelt to inspect it. Wiki crouched to follow. He brought out another clothespin and picked the cloth up to take a closer look. It was clean, no stains at all. Spotless. "What..." Ganja snatched the pin holding the cloth and brought it near his face. Instantly, his face turned from curiosity to utter disgust. He pulled it away from his face. "Drugged." Ganja described the awful smell. "Let's take it to Parkour. Let's ask John." Wiki said, standing up. /**/ Dmuds and Gallade finally got to the Creative district. They jumped up twice to fly and hovered around for the redstone clock. "Oh. There's Map, Roc, and Albino." Dmuds pointed to a trio wandering around a plot. "And there's the clock." "Let's go to it." Gallade said. The pair walked on air and went to the plot. "We're here." "Good." The voice from the other end sighed. "Look at it." "I'm looking at it, lel." "Okay, just look at how massive it is, dude." "Ah, alright." Yes, it was big. It occupied the whole plot. "Yo, what's up?" Map approached them, waving. She then hummed. "No other class gonna do that." She hummed the lyrics of Bonkumiru, lost in a world of Bonk and Boink. "Fine, just investigating a missing guy's plot, nothing else." Dmuds answered. "Yeah..." Gallade descended to have a better look at it. "That clock was destroyed last week." Roc said, recounting the time DWG went on and destroyed the clock ruthlessly. "I can see the staff member almost blew up this place." Dmuds chuckled. "Dude, no clue why, DWG just went Chuck Norris style and used his hammer to destroy the repeaters." "I was there, too." Gthang said through the radio. "I EVEN SAW HIM DANCE, DMUDS." Roc yelled. "Must be a traumatic experience." Albino joked. "Anyways, Gthang suddenly showed up and helped DWG destroy it." The two continued sweeping the area for any clue while Roc recounted how the taco mod danced. /**/ The Crew arrived in Mojang. They immediately ascended up the stairs. "Notch. Jeb. Mojang." Jerry greeted at the standing figures in front of a flickering screen. It was odd, why were they watching a screen with nothing except for gray static? "Hey!" Hai shouted to try snapping them out of the trance. They didn't move. "Huh. What's with them?" Saul and Potato approached the Mojangstas. "Dinnerbone- OH MY!" Potato exclaimed. Everyone's eyes glowed yellow, but not really focusing on a particular place. Everyone's face were tilted to different angles. "I'll try to snap them out." Saul said, stomping on the floor to send a large stone up. It levitated and it went directly at Notch's face. The boulder was turned immediately to dust and gravel as it hit Notch's face. The Minecraft creator's face was unscathed. "Trigger a fart." Harry suggested. Both twins were summoning one of their stinkiest farts until the screen catched their attention. "Pretty..." Potato uttered under his breath when, to him, the static showed a lot of awkward things. "Hey! Cheese!" Hai exclaimed, seeing an infinite sea of lovely cheese. From cheddar to mozarella to blue cheese to just plain cheese, he would never run out of cheese. "Bambi." Saul smiled faintly at the sight of his faction. It was rebuilding itself in a new Survival world. "Wow." J and H said at the same time, looking at their server, more majestic than the greatest server of the great. Nobody knew their eyes also glowed yellow because of their respective paradise. PS: Heh.
I can make them longer, but there's a problem. There is a ten thousand character limit. The last chapter had more than eight thousand characters. Pretty dangerous range.
Chapter 6 The fog was no longer white. It disappeared as they progressed without success of finding any citizen of the Kingdom. They could see the cloudy sky, no stars, no moon. Lightning suddenly flashed, making Claire yelp in surprise. "Afraid of lightning?" Benjan chuckled. She just growled. "It's about to rain." Rockor said. "We should stop for the night, too." "I'm tired. I like the idea." Bunnie panted. "We can stop to take a nap." Dao said, turning around to find shelter. Lightning flashed again with a menacing roar of thunder. Now, Claire was jittery as a cat submerged in water, and the others couldn't help but laugh a bit. "What?" She demanded. "I do not like what comes after lightning!" "Haha-" Suddenly, torrents of rain fell from the skies, soaking each and every one of them. "SEE?!" "There, a cave!" Yomc covered his head and ran to the small shelter. The others followed, some protecting their heads, others not caring if their heads became drenched with rainwater. The rain was more powerful in terms of pounding force as seconds went by. It fell in larger drops than usual, until small pieces of hard rain fell. "What the-" Homie cursed. Hail started to fall. "Ow, ow, ow." Benjan grunted every time ice hit his head and body. They ran faster to the small cave until the natural shelter took them all in. Soaked from head to toe and heads aching from the continuous hammering of icy stones on their poor heads, they panted upon reaching safety. "Shelter, shelter." Claire whispered, breathing heavily. "My head..." Bunnie rubbed her temples. "My lightsaber is wet." Demon growled. "Meh, it still works." "Is that thing waterproof?" Kick pointed to his weapon. "Yep." "The floor is too cold." Homie shivered. "Won't we suffer hypothermia for this?" Hubble asked, trembling. "It's colder." "That's because we're wet." Dao replied. "Dry off first before going to sleep. Meanwhile, let's locate ourselves." Dao pulled out a map. A dry map. How he managed to keep it dry was a secret. The torches were placed around the cave, but it didn't provide warmth. "Anyone have flint? I just realized I have five full stacks of sticks here." Kick said, chuckling nervously. Homie dug in his pocket and produced two flint stones. He tossed them over to Kick, who caught them. "Hey, I have some wood over here." Hubble gave the oak logs to the businessman. "I stole them from a village." "Great!" Kick split the logs into planks. He put some sticks on a pile, rubbed the two stones together, creating fire. Soon, a bonfire was made, and the nine crowded around it. "Hey, why not make two bonfires?" Rockor said. "Five on one, four on the other." "Good." Kick put another stack of dry twigs on another place, and lit it on fire. "There. Better." Rockor, Yomc, Homie, and Dao went around the first bonfire while Hubble, Claire, Bunnie, Demon, and Ben went to the other. "So, we're somewhere near here." Dao pointed to the docks on the map. "Most likely we're here." He pointed to a forest near the sea. "We're halfway through the forest, then it's the capital." "Good thing their capital is near the docks." Yomc said. "Are you sure we disembarked on the docks?" "Well, the map says 'docks', and it's closer to a forest. The fishport is by the urban area." "Alright, then if we arrive at the capital, what do we do?" "We come in peace, we say." Dao smiled. "Yo, Joey, mah bacon!" ShadowPKC shouted upon exiting the cab. The guy turned around from his purchase of a whole bag of seeds. "Hi! Oh, there's Magical." Joey craned his neck to look behind Shadow. "She's with me." "So, want to play Herobrine's Chamber?" Joey smiled. "As much as I want to, I can't." "Oh? Why?" "We're investigating something." Magical interrupted. "What sort of investigation?" Joey asked, brow raised. "There have been several people missing in the last month, and they haven't reappeared yet." Joey mouthed a faint "oh". "Well, why don't you call Silent to investigate?" The two fell speechless. Joey became more confused now. "I reckon he went... missing, too?" "Yes. Missing." Shadow grunted. "Well, back to the topic." Magical sighed. "Do you know this person?" She produced a picture of a missing player out of nowhere and showed it to Joey. "Yep." He nodded. "He's not anywhere." "We have to look at his house to see if there are clues to his current location. Do you know where?" "Yes. In Survival. He built it on his own, but it's a lot suspicious." Joey frowned. "His whole house is made of stone. It is also fully redstone powered." "He got them legit?" Shadow expressed surprise. "I actually don't know." "Show us his house." Magical ordered. Decades later, the trio finally found the questioned house. It was like a small mansion made of stone and wood. Trees and bushes were around it. The porch was quartz. Moreover, the whole house was truly full of redstone. When they stood on a pressure plate, the doors opened. Upon entering, it closed behind them. When they looked in the chests, they were full of ores, ingots, and gems. "I am getting a feeling this is all bought at the shop." Magical muttered. She stopped by a wall, containing photographs dating from when the server opened. "He's also a veteran." "He might as well be." Joey said. "A very old server person, but he looks new. His actions aren't really that of a real veteran." "Huh. Maybe played between long intervals." Shadow spoke. "When was he last seen, Joey?" "Last week, right here. I left to buy some melon seeds for my melon farm. He went with me to buy cocoa. He left the shop first. When I got to his house, he wasn't there." "Interesting." Magical murmured. "I checked every place he should have been, and he won't show up. That's when I reported that he's missing." "So, what's the story, then?" Bacon asked immediately after entering the BuildIt lounge, towing John with him. "Take a seat first." Misfit entered the scene. "You're the only witness. You'll be protected." "Alright." John took his seat and breathed deeply. "The missing person I'm going to talk about is-" "No need to tell us. Just remember what happened." "Okay. I followed him into an alley, a dark one. He always goes through that alley when he goes home from OITC. I wanted to stalk him because I saw him hack. So I did. And when he wemt through that dark alley, out of nowhere, a man appeared behind him!" It didn't sound possible, but they listened on anyway. "He went out of the shadows and put a cloth on his face-" "Hey, we found this cloth that smells like-" Wiki entered along with Ganja, holding the cloth. John recognized it. "That's what he used!" "Gimme that." Misfit took the cloth. "I'll have it analyzed." "When the guy fainted, his assailant took out a gun. When he pulled the trigger, the guy I was stalking was in a yellow sphere, and then it collapsed on itself. The guy was nowhere to be seen, and the assailant just... disappeared." The people listening to John's story didn't notice their jaws hanging. "Hey, everyone, hold up." Gthang ordered. There was an indistinct voice at the background. "What?" Gthang shouted over his shoulder. "I said, I found a pattern!" Athens's voice shouted back. "What pattern?" Everyone almost said at chorus. "It's too big of a coincidence, guys!" Athens ran into the room where most of the ones who were left to rifle through records were. His arms held a whole stack of papers, some sheets falling. He awkwardly tried to kick the papers to the table, until Radeon and DWG decided to help Athens. "Here." He dumped it on the table. "Look at their records." The moderators and admins leafed through the pages, some occasionally recognizing some players. Athens had found a crucial pattern. All missing people were branded as rulebreakers. HEY HEY HEY LOOK HERE FIRST BEFORE YOU GO OR ELSE. Bonus question: Every missing person here has a backstory of broken rules. If a person can list the things that the people below did correctly, bonus points. You'll have a lower chance of dying. (SG guy, Survival house guy, Creative guy)
Probably hack, grief, scam, redstone clocks and more hacking. P.S There's another hidden note. gl hf on finding it.Btw, I want a romance scene with me and bunnie
Wait, what they did correctly? I saw the redstone clock bit But yeah, that's all I saw, oh well. Oh yeah, I noticed another crime. No symmetry. Please ignore the image that I accidentally uploaded at the bottom XD
I forgot, Demon already nailed the Survival guy. Of all people, Yomc, you couldn't guess what the SG guy did. Have fun :P
Only person who plays sg there is Joey Are you talking about him? If so, what am I supposed to guess?
Survival used mods to get all the resources they needed SG hacked to get easy crits and auto regen Creative bypassed plot protection to grief Idk But wait, are the broken rules you're thinking of based off actual incidents in the server with actual players, or what? I'm a tad bit confused
im gonna give tis a try...(even tho im not in the story) what im guessing is tat the SG (does it stand for Survivel Games?) person hacked cause the 'drugs' might b potions such as swiftness, etc and the onley way to get them is hacks. I really don know :I
It was Spaghetti's ( old forums) profile picture. Maybe that's where you've seen it from. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SG : Hack Survival : Grief Creative : Grief/redstone clock
Chapter 7 Bunnie sat up. She picked up her sword. It was midnight but she couldn't sleep. She swore she could here some inhuman sounds. Those hums became growls and grunts. She kind of knew what they are, although she wasn't exactly sure. Those low noises were joined by a sound similar to Claire's spear. "Dao?" She spoke. "Can you hear that?" The only other person awake nodded. "Hums." Bunnie glanced at Claire's staff. Its energy ball wasn't humming, only glowing a bit. Hubble's sword snored. She glared intensely upon the tycoon's sleeping figure. "How did Kick make that sword?" Bunnie wondered loudly. "It's haunted, Bunnie." "So, do you hear those noises?" "Yes. But faint." Dao looked behind Bunnie when he saw ghost-like figures behind her. "Bunnie, don't look behind, just stand still." Bunnie froze on the spot. Dao slowly stepped sideways, crouched, and picked up Rockor's bow and arrow. He held it up, in line with his eyes, and aimed. Bunnie could feel something's presence around her, those low grunts actually translated to human whispers. She could hear the soft voices. "Good night, Gracie." The voice whispered as a click sounded. Dao fired an arrow at the being behind Bunnie. Another arrow magically appeared in his hand. The creature gave off a human screech of pain as the arrow was buried in his right shoulder. Everyone jerked awake by the shriek. The head administrator tossed the bow and arrow to the half-asleep OITC fan. Hubble grabbed his complaining sword. Claire pulled up Benjan and Demon, who had a hard time balancing themselves. "RUN!" Dao yelled. Those 'ghosts' went visible. One of them aimed his weapon of death. The barrel glowed in a menacing yellow. It looked more like a water gun. It was lightweight, almost massless. The man pulled the trigger, sending a small yellow sphere. It was chasing Demon. The sphere curved around when he sharply ran to the right. He activated his lightsaber and spun around. He thought of the sphere as a baseball, his saber as a bat. He hit the yellow ball and sent it to a completely different direction. The lightsaber flickered. "Aw, man. It's getting broken." Demon frowned. The ball hit a tree. What happened next was unbelievable. The yellow ball obviously slowed down within inches away from the acacia tree. The ball increased its size once it made contact. The sphere's yellow color became more translucent than opaque when it increased size. It completely engulfed the tree before shrinking to a singularity in less than three seconds. "Now I'm truly afraid." Yomc muttered. "Well, we should run to the docks." Benjan flatly said. "The docks! They're nearer than I thought!" Dao shouted. They could all smell salty water. "Okay, find the boat!" Yomc said. "Kick! Find your boat, we'll hold them off!" "Okay! CHILL." Kick ran around with a torch. "Haha! I'M GOOD AT BASEBALL!" Hubble cheered himself as he used his new sword as a hitting bat. "YOU CANNOT MAKE THE ONE AND ONLY MEATBALL ONE DISAPPEAR!" "Ow!" The sword complained when it hit spheres. "I'm going to name you Chocoloco Meatball Baseball Bat!" "Too long for a catchy name, Huggle!" Demon chuckled, sending another sphere to engulf its sender, using his Demon Blood sword. "RETURN TO SENDER! OWNED." He almost added 'wanker' at the end. "I love this!" Bunnie laughed, setting spheres on fire as it was deflected by her sword. "Totally saps the boredom!" "Agreed!" Yomc laughed along, deflecting the barrage of yellow marbles. "You get to deflect, while I shoot." Rockor groaned, taking down more. He was behind Benjan. "It isn't that fun, I assure you." Claire spoke in an emotionally distant tone as she hit more spheres on their way to consume her. "Come on, almost all of the yellow things are aiming at me." Dao said, artfully hitting the balls. "Pro." "Wah!" Yomc yelped in shock as a ball almost brushed against his nose, but, blessedly, it didn't eat him. "Lucky guy." Homie chuckled. "It almost ate me!" "It's alright, man." "That means I'm 2PRO4U!" Yomc taunted the men trying to wipe them off the face of Minecraft. "HEAR THAT? HUH?! I. AM. 2PRO4U!!!" "I FOUND MY BOAT!" Kick called. The team ran to the wooden docks. Kick hopped on the boat, and immediately started the speedboat's engine. The other eight jumped on the boat. Rockor continued shooting at their assailants. Kick made the boat move. It quickly accelerated to top speed. "Are we safe?" Homie asked. "Not yet." Dao answered. "They're still chasing us." Black boats appeared out of thin air. Their enemies boarded and chased them on water. "Kick! This thing, faster?!" Homie shouted, protecting everyone else from yellow balls of doom with his mod sword. "I'm trying! Xenon's boats have a lovely feature called jumping!" "There is?!" Everybody else asked in chorus. "Yeah! It will give us an opportunity to get us out!" "As they say, if opportunity comes," Hubble said. "KIDNAP IT WITHOUT MERCY." "I'M TRYING TO LOOK FOR THAT BUTTON!" "I'll drive!" Bunnie volunteered. She took the 'wheel'. Kick knelt to loom for the button. He extracted a flashlight from his pocket and shined it under the wheel. "Little help!" Rockor shouted. His arms were becoming tired. Claire gripped the rail, held her staff. Her weapon hummed excited. A ball of blue energy shot out and hit one enemy boat. It exploded violently. "Nice shot." "Thank you." She shot another boat. It followed suit. "I'm really happy when things go kaboom." "Mhmm." Rockor shot with his arrows again, but he saw the enemy suddenly halt. "They stopped!" "I found it!" Kick shouted in glee. He pushed the tiny button. Without warning, the boat went airborne. /**/ "Look. All of them." Awezome pointed at the documents. "Spammers. Scammers. X-rayers. Advertisers. Hackers. Plain rude." "Yes... what do you think?" "Extremely creepy." Pk answered. "Does it seem like it's syndicated?" John asked. "For me, it's, like, there's a group who's responsible." "WOAH NO." Nes looked at the rate. "Today's crime pie chart says almost everything is about missing people!" "Athens must be right, more rulebreakers are going missing. No law abiding player has been missing." Misfit said. "Hey, what the heck is happening to the sky?" Ganja looked out a window pane. The sun that was about to touch the horizon suddenly disappeared. One second, it was slowly setting, turning the sky crimson. A flash, a blink of an eye, a nanosecond later it just went poof like it didn't exist. "What time is it?" Radeon asked, patting Low. "Uhh..." Low pointed to the clock, which was spinning like mad. Compass needles pointed to no particular direction at all. "What is happening?!" PS: Comments? Also, about my last question. Only the SG missing guy’s crime is not guessed. Meh to it. Demon, Kick, Map, Yomc, Athens get partial lower chance. Giveaway: rank
When Radeon asked "What time is it?" you should have had someone scream ADVENTURE TIIIIIME! Anyway, I believe the SG dude was teaming or sprint hacks.
