So I walk into my English teachers room before the school day starts. I sat down and I rose my hand and asked him "May I turn in my English paper? I didn't have internet last night." He says "I don't give a shit if you did't have internet you could of walked to Myconald's and used there internet" I re- buttlted with "I live 50 blocks away from god damn Mycdonald's." After that he put a on the grade book which brought my grade down from a A- to a 71%. Now he has brought up some other things and I have started to be more depressed since this morning knowing most likely I am gonna probably fail now.

Well dude if your assignment was due the night before you tried to turn it in, it's not the school's or your teacher's fault. Yes, your teacher could have been nicer, but I doubt it was an overnight assignment, meaning you probably had more than one day to do it. Don't procrastinate in the future. The more you don't blame yourself, the more you don't improve your own work habits. I don't know you personally, but I'm speaking from the general situation you gave.

Tbh if you feel like you were treated unfairly, go to another teacher or another authority in your school and tell them, they can maybe take care of your grade. Some teachers can have bad days and judge unfairly, I have experienced it multiple times. Try to talk to the teacher maybe next day or to someone else like I said before, just choose the mature way.

Teachers here give the solution "submit work online during school" towards Internet issues. Try doing that?

Teachers in my school just tends to not give a damn if you don't give the work. Some of the teachers in my school just care about the salary, not about the students.

There was this one teacher that gave a kid computer to listen to music to keep him awake because he said he would fall asleep without music, and I couldn't use a computer for homework. This was after school

if it was an over night assignment alright, but i doubt it also, considering it was a "paper" and not many papers are due in 1 night, so partly your fault. doesnt your school have a library too? if not ok, but you had other times to do it.

    Speaking from experience

If you decided to put it off, it's your fault.
Most college professors adopt this policy - if it's late, it's late, no matter the reason, except extreme circumstances (which don't involve internet being out - it usually is a proper medical excuse or a family member dying, etc).

And, of course, this is how the real world is, too.
Didn't meet the deadline for a project at work? You're most likely getting penalized. That could mean financially, being demoted, getting more work, or if you've done it enough, getting fired. And that's because the company's probably getting penalized. Usually by very, very large fines.
Didn't show up to work because you forgot to set your alarm? You're getting a stern talking to if you're lucky.

Just my view on it though.
They're just preparing you for real life.
