What has IJAH done for you?

I think that we need to bring some positivity back to ijah after Tuesday's election results. So let me ask what has IJAH server/forums done for you?

For me:

• Helped me come out of my shell
• Created new friendships
• Makes me happy

• It gave me honestly an amazing, if not the best community I have ever been a part of during my Minecraft career.
• It has given me so many awesome people that I know today. I wouldn't be who I am without them.
• IJAH has given me the opportunity to do something I never really thought I'd take interest in during my Minecraft career: Becoming a staff member of a server/community. And I am really glad I decided that one day to apply.
• Made me go through a lot of pain surprisingly, but I came out a stronger and smarter person throughout the process.
• Made me really realize how lucky I am to be where I am today, again, surprisingly.
• It's all-in-all made me a way better person. I don't know where I'd be without joining this place, what server I'd be with, what kind of person I would be, or even if I'd still be playing this game. It's amazing.

IJAH is a safe place for many people in which they can get away from the stresses of their lives. They really should be proud.

J&H has had a huge impact on my life, and I honestly don't know what I would do without it. I have met my best friends through this server, and I find it amazing how easily we can connect. It's shaped me into the person I am today, and I can't thank J&H enough for what they've done for us.

 

Personally made me grow as an online individual altogether. Made me crack out of my shy shell and open up to the online world.

Sadly, I can't agree with that. I feel kind of threatened.
IJAH was better before 2016, I will just say that.

 

IJAH has had a major beneficial impact on my life throughout the years of playing. These include:

• The discovery of a great community whom are free, free and outgoing when expressing their own opinions and ideas
• The foundation of new friends to play with every day as well as old ones whom will cherish forever
• And of course, the server itself, being the perfect balance between challenging, enjoyable and not something that would get bored of easily as well as the fact that there is little to know advertising, keeping the chat clean readable.

 

from my p.o.v., ijah has changed over the years - positively and negatively
but i'm happy with some changes, considering the people i've met :)

I've been playing here for a while and the server has really helped me develop as a person. I used to be shy and lonely but now I can personally say I have many supportive friends that I would have never met without ijah.

As for the stress free part... I have to disagree. Imo it's become a more negative environment over the years. But I can safely assume that we've all had our ups and downs but at the end of the day we're glad we've made this server our home.

It has seriously helped when I was miserable. So many people cared about me, encouraging me to continue life instead of stopping it. I love everyone who supported me, probably without their support, I wouldn't be here today.
Also it's encouraged me to continue my dream of being an author thanks to the support for 2 years. I'm up to my 10th story and my writing skills have improved so much thanks to everyones suggestions and feedback :)

It once was one of the best communities I have ever been apart of when I used to frequently play this game. I could sit and play for hours and hours on end and not get bored at all. I used to love sitting in skype calls all night with old friends and new and just grinding on OITC. Its probably the most fun I've had on this game. I've met some pretty amazing people because of this server. Some I'm still friends with and others that I no longer speak with. I wish I could go back to that time and do it all over again. I hate to be the one to say this but the server isn't like that anymore, well not for me atleast. The community vibe just isn't as strong as it once was each minigame becomes and feels really repetitive no matter how I play. I love this server and it has a place in my heart but I can't play here anymore, which is upsetting tbh.
