Why JerryandHarry is a good server

JerryandHarry is a good server. It's not just good! Its the best. If you agree... Please reply to this and explain to me what your opinion is. Tell me why,too.

 

IJAH is my favorite server. I can't say it's the best, as I have not been on every single server, but I'll explain my feelings:

1.) The community - most of the bigger servers such as Mineplex and Hypixel are in my opinion nowhere as community-centered as J&H is. Their communities are too big, and the most toxic. It's harder to have friends on these servers because of how massive they are, with multiple lobbies and many bungee-connected servers.

The staff are rarely present, and you have no connection with them at all. On IJAH the staff are friendly and considerate, and think twice before they punish. You can really be friends with the IJAH staff, whilst on bigger servers the staff look down on you as subjects.

1.a) The Playerbase- Most megaservers had thousands of players, whilst J&H has up to a thousand. The population is enough that you meet new people everyday, but small enough that you can maintain friendships.

Unfortunately, the population is deteriorating, but the community is still staying strong.

2.) The Rank/Non-rank divide

Many ranks on any server make fun of the non-ranks for not being donators. I can't say it's perfect on J&H, but on bigger servers non-ranks are not even on the social system on the server and are completely invisible. Unfortunately, some ranks on J&H still harass non-ranks, but most of the time the ranks and non-ranks are very inclusive of each other - Like I said, not perfect but better than most servers.

3.) Server Offerings -

J&H no doubt has many less mini-games than Hypixel and Mineplex. However, J&H has a small enough number where all the mini-games can be maintained, and large enough to offer a good variety.

The J&H store also has a large variety, and most of their items are reasonably priced (excluding the God rank). The staff and devs are constantly working to bring new content to the server.

In Conclusion, IJAH is the only server I have ever become engrossed in, and it is the only server I have ever felt included in. IJAH is a great place, and I hope it can continue growing and being an active, lively server.

The only thing is that i recently got banned for "Constantly Hacking" and i cant even ban appeal it because it says to include stuff. And i was a Donator! IGN: DaddyFlexii! Like OMG why !!! ;-; I got banned by StarTheSpookyGhost. Im never going to get unbanned even if i wasnt hacking!

 

Like I said, the staff here tend to be nice and flexible. You should PM @StarTheSpookyGhost and see if she can clarify why you were banned.

 

In all honesty this is what I must say.


1. JAH is a place where expressing yourself is okay, people understand you, and people are kind. Most other servers are toxic and rude.

2. Our community is fresh and organized, making friends is easier than plucking an apple off a weak tree.

3. We aren't big.

4. We have staff that do something (OMG WOW?!?/!1KSkwID)

5. And something.

 

I've told him to make a ban appeal.

Thank you for making this thread. A lot of people talk crap about this server for this reason or that, but try comparing J&H's community to any other big server. We're not perfect, but we're certainly one of the better communities.
