So, for some strange reason, the edge of tropical typhoon Songda is hitting the northwestern US right now. It's the worst windstorm in the northwest since the 60's. Unfortunately, I live right in Seattle, so I'm screwed. We're getting up to 8" of rain and up to 80 mph winds... I know the people on the east coast had it worse during Hurricane Matthew, but we never get tropical storms in Seattle. Everyone in Seattle is terrified, and the storm started about 15 minutes ago. There's a high chance I'll lose power. I'm pretty scared as well. The sky is completely black, and you can't see anything because of a thick sheet of rain. We're all screwed. (Of course I needed a ridiculous tombstone) Update: Whelp, that was extremely underwhelming. There was only an hour of wind and rain, and now Seattle's just back to normal rain. :/
Thanks :P Everyone stocked up on supplies like they were preparing an apocalypse bunker, and nothing happened.
