YouTube has gone full Fascist.

Before continuing with this thread, I seriously recemmend you the watch the video above that YouTube has made.
Because I'm getting right to the point here.
What the fuck YouTube?

That could have surprised a few people, because I normally do notcurse, but damn.
So if you watched the video, you should have noticed something wrong with it, it's pretty obvious, YouTube's gone full Fascist.
Instead of me going on an angry rant here, (which I probably might end up going on later) let me make a few points at least before I do here.

"Step Three: Unlock super tools!"
"Mass flag videos"
"Help moderate the community in the YouTube Heroes' community."

If you don't see the problem with that, your either a fascist or you don't know the context of this or what this exactly means.
So, we don't know a lot about this system as of now, but by the looks of it, any person in the community can become a YouTube "Hero".
..and when you give people the power to remove comments on any video and mass flag videos, there is a bit of a problem.
Obviously not everyone that becomes one of these, "Heroes", would go all-out fascist SJW, but it in this case, it will only take a few bad apples to ruin this entire thing.
Damn, maybe an actual fascist will trick the system until they become a "Hero".

If you give people the power the censor anyone on a whim without punishment, there is clearly something wrong with the system in general.
This also can affect J/H, as trolls can mass flag their videos and remove any comments they don't agree with.
Until we get more information on how this will work, we have every reason to be concerned about this.

I know someone might completely take what I said out of context when I said, "It will only take a few bad apples to ruin this entire thing" so I won't let that happen.
If just a few SJW's can get their hands and take some form of power, it will hurt everyone. Reasons for this should be obvious, even to the point to where I don't have to point it out.
Think of it as a storm of political correctness within the YouTube community.

In fact, this system entirely is complete shite, instead of having random people moderate any part of the YouTube community, and even if YouTube finds a way for this system to work out, you know would have been a bit better my friends? Upgrade the existing system!
Just in case you are unaware, which I would not blame you if you are, YouTube already have a system to where you can moderate your own content.
Problem is, a big YouTube creator does not have enough time to scroll down and moderate a comments section that has thousands upon thousands of comments.
And yes, you can allow certain people to be on your channel to be moderators, but if they want to remove a comment from a video, the channel owner has to sift through and review the comments that the moderators had flagged and remove them him/herself!
They don't have time for that! They have to make content!
Instead of this new, "Hero" system, YouTube could have just simply allowed the moderators to actually remove comments, and that would have been it. Really. That's it.
Upgrade the existing system, and then allow creators to moderate their own content!

One can argue that, "Wonder if the YouTuber does not moderate their own content by added moderators to their videos?"
Well, at the end of the day, it does not really matter. If you click on the video, you should seriously consider the fact that, well, your clicking on a video about a certain topic, and you should be more concerned about the video rather then letting your feelings get hurt by a YouTube comment.
But if moderating content is such an important thing for YouTube, they should upgrade their existing system instead of making a brand new system that can easily be abused by anyone on the Internet.

Anyways, this really is a big problem. This isn't one of those "oh it won't be relevant in a week!" kind of thing because it shows it's longetivity in the power it's granting. We all should be careful of what we post there, guys. Our "free speech" is apparently being monitored by volunteers who we know nothing about.

Sure, I will go over it. This thread was made right out of the oven, as soon as I heard about this, my fingers rushed to the scene.
And using an IPad with autocorrect does not help.

Maybe YouTube is just feeling suicidal lately.

 

It's suffering crippling depression
