You have your own standpoints, I have mine, and we have agreed on one thing. It varies by person, so no hard feelings.

 

donators are not responsible for answering ur questions-_- mods might be afk, but you should ask them if they are on. You are the one being ignorant by thinking everyone should be helping you.

 

Couldn't you just /msg the person a question to make it more noticable?

 

1. Like people said, you have gray chat. It's a little bit more unnoticable than white chat.
2. The question you asked was answered ages ago. You have access to most games, why not give donors one extra perk?

 

Guys, if gray chat is so unnoticeable, then explain why I got three replies after about seven seconds despite the fact there were many donators chatting at once.

 

With athen's image and things I have seen, I somehow see donators using favouritism.

I try to help everyone in any question. But yet again, it is an option to help people, not a donators responsibility. Adding to that, not ALL donators are experts at knowing the server. I remember in survival once that a [Premium] asked how to sell things.

To be 100% honest?
I only noticed you because the donators did, and I didn't notice the gray. I just noticed what they typed, then saw your chat. Too much white at once.
Guys, gray is actually kinda hard to see. The lack of prefix makes gray scrunched in as well, barely visible.
That's at least part of it.

-Might be messaging someone
-In a convo
-They don't know you
-Busy
-They don't care
-Talking with someone else
-Don't like you
-Hate you


As said before, Donators are not responsible for everything. Get ignored? WHO THE F*CK CARES. This obviously a thread saying: "GUYS WTF SAY HI TO ME OMFG YOU GUYS ARE MEAN YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR MANNERS NOW GTFO!!!"

Don't expect everyone to say Hi to you.

To get people to say Hi to you:

-Know pretty much all the J&H server veterans.
-Don't make rant threads
-Be very active
-Don't seek attention
-Make at least 5 posts everyday
-Talk to everyone ; be social

 

He wasn't saying hi, he was asking a valid question.


You know what I find funny?
All of those people who applied for moderator, that were on the server at the time.
Those who didn't respond to a regular player (the majority of the server population, might I add), basically just proved how unworthy they were of moderator...

Being a moderator isn't just about fair judgment and /ban, you know.
Regardless, you should be able to help everyone.

 

Im sorry I am quite active and on the lobby but for some reason wasn't there at that time. If you really are in need of help and can't get someone's attention try messaging them or something. I am sorry you were annoyed because as we see from Athens its NOT because of your grey name. Tbh and not to make you feel bad it just shows the people on don't care about helping people unless they know them.

 

So you are accusing me of ignoring Athens intentionally because he had a gray name, and then proceeding to accuse every donator of having favorites.
Not every donator feels that way, don't lump them all in one group -_-

 

Alright, Shadow, not all donators have favorites. I was just using that picture as a general example.
Notice that the people who responded to me are a completely different group of people than those who were online in Phantom's situation. (not intended to offend anyone, I'm trying to make a general statement)
Perhaps some donators are willing to help, and others aren't, but there's no reason to have that stereotype for all of them.

 

I never said YOMC and thats what im saying. I would help and speaking of the person that YOMC is im guessing he would too. Im just saying that he was unlucky because the people on at the time where either AFK or didn't care to help. Yomc wasn't on at that time so I was not saying this too him.

EDIT: And yea re reading what I typed it sounded stupid and thats not what I meant to say. So Yes you are right not all donators are like this but the people on at the time were or just AFK

Not everything is in a book. Questions are basically always valid.

I know that. I was just seeing if there would be a response or not.

The one problem I see is that not everyone can afford to buy stuff, not everyone has parents that will be willing to spend on the Internet and not everyone has a job and can pay for themselves.

I know that. It's the fact that I wanted to see if someone would answer or not.

We don't just /msg specific people. We are asking in a public form. I would not bother PM everyone in the Lobby.

Also, try to stop going too deep against others' opinions. I sense a flame war coming.

Donators donated to get the perks. That is how it works.

But, thing that is funny is that 85% of donators have applied for the staff rank and only 5% of them actually helps in the game.
Some donators only try to help when there is staff online, means they are a** kissers and try to look helpful. That's true, I've checked it myself with my 2nd account.

My point is, donators are regular players who got the perks they paid for. None of the ranks comes with authority, but doesn't come with the obligation to help either. That is optional. If you have further questions, I strongly suggest you to ask staff because that is what we are here for.
