Leaving the forums.

Hey guys. I would like to say that I will be leaving the forums for a while.

This will not effect my in-game activity. The reply ItsHarry gave to my Raising Awaerness thread shows hate. Hate towards one of my best friends.

I saw countless threads on people just hating on the community. I never believed them. But that single reply shows me that its not only the community. Why cant we all just listen to one another. This is not a hate thread on the community.

I wont be leaving forever. Just until I think its right to comeback. You may see me online but I'll only be checking.

There are countless people I want to thank. But 1 in particular.
Magical_Sparklez. When I posted that thread she was ready to give Flare
a chance. She herself put time to talk to him in-game. I can not thank her enough.
There are also other people.

I dont think Harry's post tried to show hate.
It shows that the person is banned, for a reason.
And doesn't want Flare back here, for a reason. Not to hate
To me, Flare didnt understand what a ban was.

While I do agree that flare doesn't really belong, I feel like Harry was harsh, not hateful. While at the same time, Flare was rude to many people on other threads before his account ban and demise.

Although it is sorry to see you go, I feel as if you are leaving for the wrong reasons.

Although ItsHarry may have been harsh, you have to take personalities into consideration. When the majority pressures the head of something to do something or agree with something, it gets hard to change it and spark up flares and flame wars.

I honestly think ItsHarry only said that for the majority of the community and not for the other part.

 

I also think he said it to everyone.
If you are banned permanently from the forums because you are spreading hate towards the owners, dont come back. A ban is a ban, not being perm banned and come back with an alt.
It's your fault that you are banned, deal with it. ;)

 

Well, Flare bypassed a ban which, just, isnt the right thing to do.

 

Actually, I'm pretty sure that the thread was made before Flare made the account...
Also, all that Flare was trying to do with that account was make a few points before heading out. How do you think you would feel if there was all this commotion going on about you, and you couldn't do a single thing about it? Not even say a single word?
Now, I'm not questioning the decision to ban the account, it was used to bypass a ban, but I do think there was more to it than just that. I'm trying to give you all some empathy (put you in his shoes) for Flare.

 

Adding on to that, think about this yourself; what if you, after a long stay on the server, was suddenly, demoted, harassed, then perm-banned off the forums in a short time. I'm not discussing whether he was wrong or right in his choice of decisions in the past, but the least we could show appreciation for what he has done in the past.

You know all those random threads about negativity? Well, now is the time to use them.

A lot of you may agree with this. But open your eyes, and if you actually asked for once instead of making false conclusions that everyone here hates DwD_Flare, then I'm afraid you are mistaken.

I care about Flare.
athenswill cares about Flare.

There are so many others who will fight for his name here, regardless of his ban.

Take a look around you; instead of just looking toward your own friends, consider others.
Sure he's banned, and I will not question that decision. But if any of you decide to make fun of my friend, then I will not hesitate to retaliate, even if it means I will be permabanned as well.

I'd rather lose a website then a friend.
Not sure about you, but that's how I feel.

 

I don't understand why people support him.

All he looks like to me Is someone who Is immature and doesn't understand a decision.
Sure, It might be sad for someone to get demoted on a popular server, but it doesn't mean that he needs to spread hate to J&H.

I'm pretty sure he isn't worth even fighting for.

I never seen him even kick or ban someone from spleef.
There Is always a camper, people scream at DwD to kick him or warn him, but what does he do?

I just want to add one thing. Harry did his job, yes it sounds weird, but he did. Moderating a community is hard, and sometimes Moderating goes before friendships, even if you know that it's going to hurt people. Anyway sad to see you go, come back soon plz.

I know that some people were good friends with Flare and others despised him because of his actions.
I don't want to try and offend anyone on this case, but I want to say something here.
I forgive him, through all the hardships brought onto him, despite how he spread hatred.
So much going through the mind, can just lead to that behavior of hatred and arrogance
I know what he did was wrong, by bypassing and spreading the hate on here.
But we, as the people, can only make a dent into the metal of decisions while administration/owners have put in the final blow.
Haters, think about what Flare's good friends would feel after his departure. Think about if that kind of situation struck you. Would you feel the same way?
I feel sorry for his good friends and I feel sorry for him.
I also feel sorry for Elite as to what he is going through right now, and I agree. Take some time off if it is best for you. I hope you return soon Elite and I hope that hatred doesn't spread more.

What is wrong with you guys? I'm just shocked. Why are you guys still complaining about what happened with flare? He got demoted, caused drama and then got banned. Sounds right to me.​

I was his friend, and I'm pretty sure most of you guys were and are his friend, but that doesn't make him ANY different from other people who break rules/get banned.​

Now, when he first got banned off the forums, it was for a reason, they obviously wanted him GONE from the forums. So when he returns with an alt, OFC what Harry said makes sense, they didn't want him back on this forums.​

Does something sound wrong here? I cant see it, but still you guys are twisting, turning and jerking on every freaking word which cause even MORE drama. Dont you want this forums to get a better community? Well, gooood job.​
