What is the most boring book you've read?

The most boring book I've read and still reading is As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner. I'm readin it for school and OMG there's a new chapter at every other page and there are almost 300 pages. I bet there's more boring books out there...

 

Jasper Jones.

Had to read it for Year 11 English.
It sets the story up so well, then you get this batshit boring "romance" that paces so wrongly, Charlie's (main character) annoying friend Jeffery, and the so called "murder mystery" turns out that the option they ruled out earlier was indeed how Jasper's 'girlfriend' (sort of dating) died. [suicide].
Oh, and the ending goes for 60 pages and very few people actually liked the ending.
People were confused on why I was so vocally upset at how the ending was boring to begin with, but eventually it became a broader opinion.

Don't read it.

 

The Scarlet letter Read it in 11th grade so boring its about like back in 1800 when adultery was like the worst thing ever and idk its stupid

The Lord of the Flies. Had potential, spent an entire year reading it and eventually it got removed from the GCSE list so I wasted an entire year studying that \o/

I hated it though, it was super boring and wasn't even interesting to write about. The only part that was fun to read was the ending.

 

Im in the middle of reading that book for my Ap Lit but I find it rather intresting to be honest you never really talk about a bunch of 12 year olds stranded on an island in a world where currently world war 3 is happening but I have a question just a yes or no but do we ever figure out why its called lord of the flies

 

no but you can work it out yourself if you think deeply about it

 

A lot of people like this book but The Giver. I absolutely hated reading that book I dislike it a LOT

 

The Dictonary.

 

First time I've read the Iliad by Homer I found it extremely boring and I couldn't understand anything, but on my second reading I understood it fully
Then I went crazy and proceeded to write a 10 page book report about it

The book was interesting in itself, but my english teacher made reading the book so dreadful and boring.

 

My brother read that book. I was curious so I read it too. It's okay

 

the outsiders. i didnt really like that book. a few parts were interesting, but i found it boring.
