Should I make a video on this?

So, my YouTube channel is small now, but once in a while I see something on the lines of: "Nice content, now go check my content out." I can feel the rage grow inside of me when I see comments like these but I manage to be polite and reply with something like: "Thanks, glad you enjoy my content" so that they fuck off.

But today... I found 4 people on the same video doing the same thing:

I can't describe with words how mad I am now. Okay, let me explain why I am one comment by one. Let's start with the one I found the least irritating:



Notice that this comment is almost 7 lines long... The lines that are about my channel is the first one and the 6ixth and 7eventh ones. (7eventh line doesn't count because it's only one word) so 2 lines out of a 6 lines paragraph are about my channel and content, the other four are about me liking and commenting on all his upcoming videos in order to get a shoutout... I find this one the least irritating because it feels like he wanted to just help me out.

My question is, did he make this comment just so I subscribe? Most of his comment really feels like that. Apart from the "Awesome vid & nice channel" part, the rest is about his channel. Dude cmon. If I feel like checking your stuff out, I will do it without you baiting me with the "shoutout special"

Forget my content... he only wants us to like each other's content (the likes mean nothing btw) and sub4sub. And his shoutout series. Dude, did you even watch what my video is or did you just comment hoping that there's an another guy in your sub count. No, I don't care about shoutouts. It feels nice to have a boost in subs but I'm fine with the amount I have now, thank you.

And now for the one that made me mad the most:

What I don't understand is, why do you care so much about me checking your videos out? If I feel like doing it, I will, but you asking me to like this in the most obvious way only makes me want to ignore your channel. I'm sure you had good and innocent intentions while typing this and were it someone else, he probably would've reacted differently, but I'm not this person. These comments are irritating and I don't want them to appear on my videos.

I still reply politely on them and do check out their stuff, to not be a dick, but I hate this beggar comments. Especially when their channel is already giant as it is. And the shoutout series, I want those attacked by pterodactyls and destroyed. It does help out the winner, but if you think that a channel is worth a shoutout, why do you ask them to go like your videos to get a chance of winning a shoutout. This is a cheap and lazy way to get active viewers. If I see another comment like those above I might eat my gerbil alive.


So yea, should I make a video about that, so that people stop commenting shit like this?

 

Of course, in my opinion, because people should enjoy the content you make instead of trying to use you to boost their own ego.
Do whatever you want to though, as you the one who decides to make the video or not.
