Jerome, the reason why people create threads like this is for a people to read, and for people to enjoy reading the persons' content. I make long threads specifically for that purpose, I want people to enjoy reading and giving opinions on my content.
I deliberately make long threads for the sake of entertainment for others and self-satisfaction by hearing others opinions, and of course for ranting.
