When IPs match, staff ban. They are not going to ask you if you're an alt of ____ because that just doesn't work. There's a ban appeal section for that reason.
For what you see is "unfair" is fair. Your brother probably got banned for a reason. There wouldn't be a ban if your brother didn't break any rules. You were also banned because both of you had the same IP which means the staff thought he was ban evading. I'm pretty sure there's a rule about "Account Responsibility". Plus players use siblings to get away with what they did so that's why there's account responsibility. Not true. I've reported many players and they've been dealt within the day. Some take longer, but it's to be expected. They aren't robots. They have lives and problems that need to be taken care of. Why are you stressing over something that doesn't involve you? If they want to date, then let them be. It isn't hurting you at all, so why are you judging them? A lot of players in J&H e-date. That's really none of your business and it doesn't concern you much, so you should just drop it.
Just because you're a US citizen, doesn't give you the full right to freedom of speech and press here (Most of the server is foreign compared to US population; Owners of the entire community are foreign). Banning alt's is what is required because they do not want you to bypass and continue making the error that got you banned in the first place. They take their time on those sorts of things because they can't just say "He's guilty" or "He's innocent" as soon as the appeal/report is uploaded. Just because you don't support online dating doesn't mean it's something everyone can't do. People find love online, oh well, it's their business and their emotions. Just be happy that they're happy.
Just appeal if you didn't do anything, you'll get unbanned right away. Most of the online communities have little kids in them. Staff are actually really quick here, I don't know what you're talking about.
(This is my opinion) Getting all mad about something like this, creating a "rant" doesn't solve anything. It only makes you feel like the victim, because people don't agree with you. Trust me, I have done this stuff in the past. For real, appeal for a ban, as everyone has said above me. And this server is pg-13, but kids do still play this. If they want to hear cursing in chat, ask for "minecraft" dates, then let them do so. We can't freaking control what other people want to do, no matter how easy it may seem to be. Let them be them, and let yourself be you. I really don't think you'd want to be insulted/manipulated because of your age if you were 8, 9, or maybe 10, or higher. It's plain out mean. I am sorry if I sound mean, or one-sided, but this community's staff is one of the best out there. But, that doesn't mean that it is flawless. This community, the staff team, believe it or not, aren't perfect. We all aren't perfect, but the staff team is probably as close to perfect as we can get. Be thankful for that. Remember to stay positive, and have a good day/night.
We can warn anytime necessary. However, discussions are made between staff on reports and as such, can take longer to solve. It's so we don't false deny/ban reports/players.
