http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36870874 They say 8 dead, and a manhunt continues. This is depressing, there have been so many killings the past month, not to mention they past year too with France, and Bastille day. What are your thoughts?
My condolences to the ones who lost there loved ones in this event. To me, 2016 is just an unlucky year. So much bad things have been happening in the World, with Terror attacks on a monthly basis, ISIS killing people, Social unrest, Corrupt politicians and Governments around the world. Its just awful. Why cant all this crap end? Seriously terrorism is getting us Nowhere except deeper down into our Graves. We seriously need to stand up and Fight for what is right.
One thing is Send troops to where they operate and fight them there, (Not sure if they do or not) They should also Find out where they Keep the Terrorist leaders and high ranking officers at and send troops there like they did with Osama bin laden. And also i think people need to stand up to our Corrupt Government and tell them that some of the stuff they are doing isnt right. One of the things ive heard of is the Government Not caring for the People but instead to the Billionaires of our Country. The Government i believe should cater to everyone in the USA, not just the 1% millionaires. Another thing is trying to Ban free religion in the country, such as practicing Islam because of the Actions of ISIS. That's the few reasons why i think the American people should try and fight back for things like that. Even though i dont know much about politics, these are just the things ive heard of.
Problem is, most of these European terrorists were born and raised in Europe. Most of them have never even had direct contact with ISIS
Really? Didnt know that, I thought most of the people who commit these attacks swear there Allegiance to ISIS or had some ties to them. At least thats what i hear on the news. Either that or my news stations is making up things. :p
I mean not to put the blame on France or Europe in general, but they did let in a bunch of Islamic people and refugees back a couple of years ago. Don't get me wrong though my sympathy is still for paris. I still feel horrible, and I'm sure they didn't know that people would be like this. Like Jerry said, they aren't part of ISIS. If they are part of ISIS, we can't bomb them because they are cowards, they have no real base, town, or army camp or anything like that. And if they did, it would get bombed in a instant.
You reap what you let in. You reap what you let grow. You reap what you let fester. You reap what you let gain power. You reap what you let happen all for your definition of progression.
Is there a go-fund me page for the victims? I will happily donate some money to the victim's families to actually make a difference for the world. I am getting sick of these terrorist attacks sweeping through Europe and the Western World, and I would happily donate money knowing I am doing for a good cause.
I find it disgusting that these people would do this.. I'm seriously starting to think that there's going to be a war. I feel so sorry for the people who lost their lives but also for their family and for their friends. This world is just getting worse and worse..
World War 3 has been brewing since 1946 if you didn't know .,;;,. But we'll also have civil wars everywhere now with how divided almost all first world countries have become. Whole world is gonna burn .,;;,.
I feel like everything happening is tragic, yes. I'm going to do something about it. I just feel like people tend to ignore some issues and focus on others. It's really discrimination. I didn't want to speak about this because I know a lot of people will disagree with me but please compare how much attention there was given to the attack in Medina vs the attention given to any of the attacks in Europe. They're all the same thing but people are just stubborn. I feel like the whole world needs to face the message that no Muslims are terrorists and they need to stop harassing and discriminating. In the Quran, killing a man is a one-way trip to hell. You can't consider terrorists Muslims because they're breaking islamic rule to put it in place, which isn't allowed. There's a very thick line between extremists and religious people and barely any religious people actually cross it.
This is exactly why it's so hard to fight them. It is not a war between different uniforms, but it's a dynamic war with short attacks by people who kill themselves afterwards. @John_0696 your way of thinking is not the way to solve this problem. Sending troops to them will not stop the terrorists that are already integrated. Also, banning the practising of a religion will not stop it either, as it will only make people feel discriminated, which will have negative effects.
As a german, this affects me a lot, of course. I thought "Why attack Germany, is that possible?", I was proven wrong. An 18 year-old has shot 9 people at one of the biggest malls in Munich in a restaurant. And, as any rampage, the criminal shot himself. Now we have the question, how to stop it. I don't think John's idea is not the best way, reasons stated above. The crime had no religious background. Like my status and my profile picture, my thoughts are with the victims and their families. Let's hope it won't happen again, but it possibly will.
I wasnt saying to Ban religious practices, I was saying that the Government is trying to ban free religion and that isnt right.
This attack wasn't ISIS by the way. It has no political affect what so ever. Just an 18 year old with a mental illness. I do hope the families of the victims recover one day but I dont know if thats possible.
I don't think people are going to kill people just because they are being discriminated against. I would like to mention that people aren't focusing as much on international problems. It is obvious people are going to focus on attacks such as the one in Medina because you and me live in America. If you and me lived in Germany or France, this would be a different story, as this would be on the newspapers and on the media would likely weeks, but that is not the case. And I quote: ---------------- I can already feel half the forum getting triggered, but all well.
