Well, I mean, it's an intro for videos, not a proper introduction introducing the user.

You should teach me sometime, as I have started using it as well a few months back.

Yep, purely After Effects. I have other people wanting me to teach them, so hopefully I can teach you as well.

No external programs, no plug-ins, purely with the use of what After Effects has to offer.

 

I have begun in learning how to make intros, and I have made some pretty simple ones, but I'm way better at video editing than intro making and what not.

I personally user After Effects for things like super slow motion or dynamic text and what not, and I have also learned on how to improve lighting and how to make videos look more cinematic. I am more into the video editing field as I also find intro making a little bit difficult and time-consuming. I also mainly use Premiere Pro rather than After Effects as it is more of a video editing software.

You seriously should continue doing more and more, because intro making is not very simple, and knowing how to make intros is a great skill I'd say.

 

Yeah, usually After Effects is for adding after-effects (hence the name). It's not common to use AE alone for intro making.
