Flawed Arguments

Hi folks. I'm going to make a quick announcement.

I was inspired by @Venom_Snake and @TheRealSmg to make a forum thread series on current events and flawed arguments that I've seen lately. I used to be far-left, but now I'm center-left. However, this show is not one-sided. I will be firing shots at far-left as well as far-right arguments that basically don't make sense. My hope is to enlighten people and give them a wider range of perspectives that a single media source can't provide. I'll see if I can do one of these threads tonight. :)

For starters, here's some really bullshit arguements:

Fallacy of authority: "Well, [Insert famous/powerful person here] believes it, so it must be right!"

Fallacy of the masses: "Well, so many people I know/[Insert randomly high number here] believes it, so it must be true!"

Fallacy of morals: "Well, I believe [Enter subject] is wrong because it goes against my morals/religion!"

 

Or people thinking that subscriber count = knowledge on youtube.
