God/Banned Items

I was wondering, what is considered a "god item"
And can I have a list of banned items?

 

I'll say some banned items off the top of my head:
Barriers
Any item that has a special enchant that gives you an effect


As for what/why god items were banned, I'll actually quote what @Electric_Demon said in an older thread about them.

I had a favorite thing to do before god items weren't banned. I somehow got hold of a God book, which had every enchantment on it. Basically, I duplicated it a bunch and used an anvil to make more god items :P Although those items did not have level 999999 or something only 1....

 

I used to actually create god items with the all-u-want mod, and I had the intelligent idea to put "Made by JeromeAlbert" as item description, however I guess I got my lesson when I got banned... :P

 

RIP God items. They can also be spawned with commands by ops!
