PC VS CONSOLES (Let the flame war begin)

I've seen certain PCs that are cheaper than consoles in Best Buy, so your argument is invalid.

 

They are cheaper, are they good for gaming? No. Are they for gaming? No, probably for work. If you look at the forums, they're people crying about their shitty pc, asking for a new $1k one, it's only truth. So, your argument is invalid.

In several countries outside the US and Europe, the consoles are overpriced, I have a friend who now lives in Brazil, he showed the prices of consoles there last year, more then $700, now, their prices have dropped a bit, but a PC is affordable in those countries.



I have a good Dell PC, got it for less then $500, it runs smoothly, and it's lasted for years now. It's not meant for gaming, but it works well, in fact it was powerful enough to handle 20+ mods for Star Wars Battlefront. Don't get me wrong, I like consoles, but they are simply a downgraded PC with a limiting OS.

DO NOT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON MODS COMING TO CONSOLES. I have LOTS of modding friends outside of this community, they make mod after mod, and ever since mods have come to consoles, it's all gone to shit. They're SPAMMED with "MAKE THIS XBOX1PLS, and MAKE THIS PS4 PLS" and "I bought the game, I'm entitled to have the mod!" and eventually, it escalates to "fuck your mod, and you, I don't want your shit mod anyway" Console peasants have ruined modding for my friends, and it's sad. The sense of entitlement is absolutely fucking insane, and completely childish (oh wait that's all of the people who use consoles)

Consoles:
VERY small list of games compared to PC.
Paid subscription for simply accessing the internet in a game.
30 FPS, if that.
Bad graphics.
The list goes on.

PCs:
Giant list of games to choose from
No paid subscription
60+ FPS, maybe 50 depending on your settings
Great graphics.

Holy fuck, did I specify any kind of mods? No. I'm not talking about the bullshit multiplayer mods people have to take advantage of others. US "console peasants" are childish? Do we bitch and nag at other people? No, we don't go "Hah! My Xbox/Playstation is better!" Because they're all the same, PC users fight and bitch about their FPS compared to another's. PC has gone to shit since invention due to the barbaric children who use mods to get their way. I mean there's MILLIONS of applications purely to mod, there's clients, apps, and all this other shit. Consoles do not get "60 FPS" they're only limited to 30 FPS, and they barely even achieve that.

PC is sooo much better. First, there is so much more power from a PC than from lets say a ps4 or Xbox One. The FPS you can get from a PC is far more than you can from a consol. Second, PC's are much more customizable than consol. There are different graphics cards, CPUs, Cases, LED colors and plain OS's are more custom than console.

First off, I can't even understand what you said in your first line of text, but I'm assuming it has to do with that consoles can barely get 30 FPS.
Secondly, that article is bullshit, along with all other articles posted by IGN, and most other big gaming websites. They're paid to say that shit to promote the console.

As said earlier (oh wait you never read it lol) a console killer PC can easily be built for under the price or less of a console, and you'll get twice the power. "2k" PCs are built so people can have the ultimate gaming experience

Conclusion: Console may have a simplistic charm (its actually just dumbed down) they're complete trash. They're manufactured by greedy companies who will try to process every dime out of you. Recently, Phil Spencer (Some Xbox guy) announced an Xbox Mini, while a few months ago, he outright denied it. They couldn't of made an Xbox Mini in 4 months, so it was well underway when he lied about it. Wanna know why? He doesn't want people to stop buying the console and wait for the mini. He's a real scumbag.

Tech: A console, compared to a PC of the same price is a joke. Look at most games today run on console, for example, Fallout 4. It runs like dog shit when you're in a place with a lot of buildings, need I make more examples? I don't think I have to. Graphics on consoles are also a joke, the Xbox one can't even reach 1080p, and while the PS4 can reach it, it lags the shit out every fucking game. That's sad, absolutely sad, especially when someone could build a PC for less than the price of a console and have the lag free experience of their life. Along with that, games are overpriced, and never go on sale. On Steam, sales happen regularly where you can get the game for up to SEVENTY PERCENT OFF, that is insane, and amazing! I can't wait for Microsoft and Sony to start doing that (OH WAIT LOL IT WONT HAPPEN)

Pricing: As said twice before (no one fucking reads anything) the price of a console killing PC can easily be lower than the price of a console, and with a PC, you can access the internet (conveniently) and watch videos (conveniently.) this whole idea that PCs have to be over $1000 to be decent is simple bullshit spread by people who's skull is to thick to understand the technology and what it can do in a PC, and is fueled by PC owners who have invested over $1000 in their PCs to get the very best out of gaming.
