Hey! I come to the forums to say something about a minigame which has been bothering me since the beginning of time. As you see in the title, KitPvP is too hard. And it might just be because I suck at PvP for the most part, or the fact that kits are way too overpowered. I play just because my friends play it, and personally my experience is not enjoyable. These are some main reasons. * Everyone Gets The Same Handful Of Kits At The Beggining. Hackers Sometimes. Lots Of People Have Diamond and Emerald Kits. (Meaning, you're doomed if one of them begins to chase you.) * These ruin the game for me. It is impossible to play and enjoy. If any staff can reach out and make this more enjoyable, that would be lovely. Once again, it is way too hard to play. Thank You! Love, Zayniku.
Tbh this is kind of the reason the EULA is starting to be enforced again. I support you on this, Newbies who are trying to start out are never going to with the amount of people that are overpowered.
@the hacker part - we try to remove the hackers from KitPvP. It's actually one of, if not the highest, the higher reported/handled servers. Feel free to ./report if you see any hackers. C:
A lot of hackers are also tend to be seen in Sumo, I think more staff should be there on a daily basis.
seriously the kits are really trash. They give nothing. kitpvp is not hard ... It's easy to get to the top but it just takes time so stop complaining. I started last month and I'm in the top 30 and over 40 stacks of gaps etc.
This thread was not to complain, exactly. It is here for people to recognize that KitPvP is something that starters cannot play, giving it no variety. Also, people are different, and grow at different rates, so if you are in the top 30 and have over 40 stacks of gaps etc., thats great, but other people will not be able to be the same person as you.
Well you just need to prove your good to the diamonds by outhitting them etc.. you can also act dumb and be there pet to get leathers away from them etc.. I used that method and got a full diamond set in a day with talking to the guy and acting dumb and dtill being one of the best pvpers on that server. Also talk trash about the big dogs because a lot of diamond people dislike the big dogs and need as many people they can get to be the best group
I'll tell you what I tell my son (@Ezzerland can vouch for this because he's heard me say this to my son before - and that I've toned it down for the forums) and I really don't mean to come off mean but.. 1. Practice and get better, even if it means going on other servers that have less people. 2. Find another game you can enjoy and be good at. Granted I say that because I don't like hearing him whining. There are some people who do hack, there are people who will be better than you, and there are people who are cruel when they PVP (I'm one of those people, which is why I don't pvp on here). 99% of the kids in kitpvp I honestly cannot stand just because of their attitude and how poorly they treat each other.
@SirSeasonal I agree and disagree about this thread, here is my opinion. Ok, Obviously Kitpvp is hard on this server from diamond's but, all It needs is just for you to play it for a long time. Here's my theory proposal. Every kill is 5 emeralds but 60 for a diamond piece. (This includes the diamond sword) 5 per kill is a lot of emeralds, specially when you have free kits such as mage and soldier. This is a huge advantage against leathers and the fact you get every 2 hours which is surprisingly fast compared to 24 hours a day. Once You get you're full diamond its time to enchant them and when you do (for level 30) It only takes 2-5 enchant levels! Kitpvp is not so hard as you think it is. Now here is the pros and cons of kitpvp. Pros: It's much more different from other servers kitpvp's Enchanting Is a lot better. (Taking up less levels) The Kits are able to be redeemed more then once per day. Good and great kits to choose for non-ranked players. The map is big and huge and launch pads are close to each other so you are able to escape easily Able to catch hackers with /spectate The Trade System Cons: Diamonds can quickly catch up with you . (with punch 2 bows) It's hard to obtain emeralds without you dying from diamonds and other people. Leather can be extremely annoying at times. Shop is a little bit too expensive Not able to get keys without buying them. Anyways Thanks for reading! Bottoms Line Is That All it needs is a long time playing and dedication, after that you can farm and keep getting emeralds on a much faster rate. Basically once you got you're diamond set you're ready to just get a whole lot of emeralds. Those are the pros and cons of kitpvp that I know of. -Syth
I also agree with some parts of this thread. My main concern is that certain people in full diamond armor are very very desperate for kills in the way that they will PAY to team with other diamonds, and all team up to kill people WITHOUT ANY ARMOR. I'm serious, I've been chased around the whole map with nothing but a fishing rod and no armor, only to be killed multiple times because these diamonds just want easy kills and won't fight other diamonds because they'd rather pay to team than pick on someone their own size. Honestly I think it's a little unfair but I do understand where everyone's coming from, I don't blame people for wanting easy kills but I still find it extremley stupid. I in fact do have full enchanted diamond armor, but I've never actually used it to PvP yet because I don't want to pay to NOT be killed, even though I have many friends in full diamond armor who would not kill me, their friends will still do it because I didn't pay them golden apples to be spared.
Yeah honestly that is really cheap of them, once you team with other diamonds you are set How about we enforce a no teaming rule?
Maybe that should change? As in paying people not to kill you shouldn't be allowed. Not killing people you are actually friends with would be fine, as long as they don't pay you to spare them.
