Idk, that's a very hard question.

I like most Genres but I really like screamo, death metal, spoken word, alternative rock / metal, etc.

Minecraft is dying out, slowly, and so do servers. People age and get bored of minecraft. This server has been getting lower on players daily not due to the content it offers but rather due to uncontrollable variables: people.
Nothing we can do that change about that, we just keep going as things are.

I think the team is doing very well although there are some kids around that think that defying rules is cool and badass, so they do so, and then forget that staff are people and, just as these kids are acting wrongly, staff (which are mostly teenagers under 18 years old) may also act wrongly. Which then backfires at staff for being human and having normal reactions. Then people talk about it and make it a bigger deal than it is, make things worse than it is, create drama.

People are feeding on drama, it's a damn game. Some people here care more about what some guy online said than their grades, that tells so much about someones priorities and character. 90% of the shit that happens around here could be avoided if people just looked the other way. But some people like to insist.

No, the staff is not perfect. Nor is anyone around here. As any of the member could have a not so good reaction to a situation, staff can have them too. People just take staff as the example and make it seem as they can not fail. Honestly, i'm glad our team is not perfect. There is nothing like a perfect team. People are humans. This whole servers is humans interacting with each other. And some humans think they can act as they wish and be a pain in the ass, which is the job of the staff team, to deal with those sort of humans.

Sorry if this didn't make sense but it's 4am. Basically, people seek the bad in people and like to only point out the flaws, usually, those people are the ones with the biggest flaws. People just need to stop acting childish, making drama and wars everywhere. It's a game. I can't emphasize that enough.. It is a god damn game.

So yes, answering your question, staff situation is fine. Could do better, but that's what we work on improving every single day.
