These people online are fucking stupid. Hitler and the Holocaust are kinda joked about online, but this is like worship, trying to be as truthful as can be. I swear we have the smartest community. I saw this girl on Facebook and she said something like, "If you're a girl and over 115 pounds, you're a fat bitch. Loose weight or die." Like wtf. That's crazy underweight. People are crazy nowadays, and idk where it's headed.
If you've ever been to 4chan or /pol/, you'll understand it's a joke, that started back when Mountain Dew started a "Name a new Dew" competition, and "Hitler did nothing wrong" was jokingly the number one choice.
I agree with "@geraldmellor". To be honest, I really am quite concerned about the future of A.I. considering Microsoft can't stop one from turning in to a feminist-hating, 9/11 conspiracist nazi within 24 hours. Oh god.
Wow, this actually happened? Jesus this makes A.I more scarier than it already is. o_o If this really is the future of our technology, i think a Famous quote from the movie "Aliens" sums it up best. "Game over man, Its game over!"
This does not surprise me at all, not one bit. It would not even surprise me if they make A.I they "dank new meme" of the Internet. It is about as eventful as me doing my homework or me going to the bathroom now. This stupid content the Internet spews out is toxic and becoming the norm for the average Twitter/Facebook user. I happen to dislike social media for that reason, it's the governments way for making you stupid. I can say the same for the public school system of America (P.S.S.A as I will call it now). Do you see what my point is? Now the average Internet user is cracking Hiter jokes and black jokes, exactly like this A.I here. I could go on about this subject for hours and hours, but I think yoy guys got the point. Good day my friends.
Alright, let me explain what happened. People from 4chan, especially /pol/, wanted to see how the AI would react to the harsh internet users, so they started asking the AI these questions. Some of these people were even MS employees also paid to test the AI by MS themselves. The truly amazing thing that happened, was the AI's grammar and sentence structure improved by itself. From making basic sentences, to phrasing stuff like "You know me" is very impressive. In a way, this experiment was actually a success, and we may be nearing a scientific breakthrough of advancing to widespread use of self-rewriting code.
It's also scary know A.I can do that. It is still awesome, but still, scary in a way. It is impressive that we may be about to make a breakthrough, but my opinion is a bit different. Not to the point were I need to list it here either. A.I is amazing, but I also think it is hilarious that:
Well to be fair, it's only a "test" AI. MS did this experiment to see how the AI would turn out, so they could improve later on. So what happened isn't really concerning, as MS now knows about it and will fix it. If the AI never had started hating everything, than it would go on unforeseen, and would be more punishing when a more advanced AI shows the symptoms, so it's expected these things would happen.
Fun fact - this AI ended up being "changed" (don't remember how) and the AI turned into a feminist. Hmm...
