Alrighty! Hello folks! If you do not know, my name is Smg. Today I will be talking about one of my favorite mini-games on the server, Ultra Hardcore. (UHC). Ok, so recently the game has been AbAnDoNeD. Like, literally abandoned. I know you all may be thinking: "Smg, why dafuq you making this, people can't get on during the weekdays?" It's quite simple. Even during the weekends, I have been recently seeing that the Ultra Hardcore game has had very little players. Examples of this helping my side: The leader-board has not changed in like 4-5 days. I can tell, I am on it. What I'm asking is, we show UHC some more love. I think the problem here is people don't see this as a fun mini-game. I know people have their own liking's, but most of the people who I have seen that have said this, have only played the mini-game once, or twice. Just give this game a chance. And, I do know it's new. But when you look at all the other new mini-games, they all started out with tons of players, and still have tons of players. State your thoughts if you are comfortable, but please do not say it in a mean/attention seeking way. All comments I deem that are just out to make people irritated, like myself, I will report. I think some of the problem is that haven't really announced UHC at all on the server, other than the portal being there. Maybe if they announced it on the server list thing, more people would come onto the server and play it.
They did announce it on the server home page, I believe. UHC has been amazing since it has been released, and all I want is for the community to accept this game/play this mini-game.
Not too many people know about UHC because yes, they have accounted it, but not too many people have the forums and can just check. So I believe by having more people on the server, and people telling their friends about it then UHC could be more packed.
I feel if the server made some updates, it would become active, but only for a short time, like it was when it was first released. I wouldn't know of any other way to repopulate the game.
Same. I wanna play the game so badly. But no players join. I really want to see what the game is like. I haven't tried it at all ;-; Hopefully one day UHC will be loved, instead of me waiting to play it for months. Oh my gosh I didn't realize this rhymes xD Ha!
I definitely agree with this. When it was in Beta, and people like @TheRealSmg @DeoxysPvP @Electric_Demon, me, and @Diffracting were regulars, you'd expect to have little in the Beta. But it seems like we have less people post-beta, I am definitely in on letting UHC shine, because I love the game. I mean, it helps me on crappy days. I know this sounds a bit F*cked up and people will think I'm a psychopath. *clears throat* UHC! STABBING PEOPLE HAS NEVER BEEN SUCH FUN! D-don't try this at home... I think if the game doesn't work, why should we attempt to re-spark peoples interest of it. I believe trying to make people play it will be just as challenging as adding in a completely different mini game. I'm just uncertain that UHC will ever attracted any attention as we aren't that kind of server were the majority enjoys that sort of thing. It's almost like we are trying to be something we're not. I am just unsure at the moment that UHC was needed in the first place.
I also think since 1.9 was realeased people are going to be driven away from UHC since gapples are being removed. 1.9 Also pretty much took a massive brownie in PvP's face. So I wonder about the future of UHC.
