I'd remove the new boat mechanics, and they're honestly very stupid. Minecraft was fine until Microsoft had to ruin it.

Never gonna update, never gonna let go. I think minecraft started to getting too advanced at the 1.8 update, which introduced armor stands and slime blocks, which revolutionized redstone. Although these are helpful, minecraft has changed so much from the simpler contraptions I used to know and still love. Now in 1.9, they have like 20 different types of command blocks, because that isn't meant to confuse people. Take a look at some of the classic adventure maps that don't exist anymore. Take Herobrine's Mansion. Nobody will ever make something that good. Minecraft is going downhill in my opinion. I liked the 1.5 redstone update, as it made many things easier. But they are taking things too far. Now they are adding the ability to fly in vanilla minecraft, completely changing PvP, one of the most important things in minecraft, and are ruining more things. One of the biggest blows to past map creators with command blocks was that update that changed commands. You guys wouldn't probably know this, but as an experienced command block user, you would put in actual block ID's in the command blocks. I understood they changed that, but why couldn't you use both? Now some of my older maps that use block ID's in command blocks won't work. Very few people will take the time to go down to a lower update just to play 1 person's map. As minecraft got more popular, more things came. By the update 2.0, I might even leave minecraft. I mean, there are two sides to the debate. You hate 1.9, or you hate the haters. Maybe you just hate one specific feature. Maybe you are blaming it on Microsoft, which I personally am. All that matters is that minecraft's future is changing. It will never be the same. Everything you make will be outdated in months. No build you make could ever top the person above yours. Hackers will find a way other than spam-jitterclicking to fight you, making it harder for us to fight them if they can still beat us while we wait to charge up. Am I over exaggerating? Of course not. It's just my view. Minecraft has come a long way, and I think you can stop updating it by now. We get the gist. It's good, don't lose it. Like FNAF, Scott got so caught up in his popularity, he released FNAF 3 months early and now FNAF is pretty hated. Brought down by its own fandom. One day, one update will finish minecraft. It will be gone, and people will slowly lose interest. Minecraft has changed. I would rather have minecraft 1.2 than have anything above 1.6, honestly. It's over. It's done.

Everyone who blames MS is blaming the wrong people. Mojang chooses what to change in the game. MS is in charge of the marketing, deadlines etc, much like how they do with 343 Industries.

Honestly guys, there are old minecraft clients you can play on. Go ahead and play on Minecraft 1.7 or 1.8 for the rest of your time, but you're just gonna be outdated lol. Unless you adjust(even if you don't like it), you're going to sink and drown.

Not only that, but people forget to realize that 1.9 offers nbt tags, which means 1.8 pvp can still be a thing in 1.9, just gotta up the attack speed nbt tag on the sword, and lower damage to adjust to armor(unless armor has nbt tags, but that I can't be too sure of). Mojang is making everything a bit more complex to open more doors in vanilla creativity. Pvp is being redesigned so that 1: A new kind of skill will be needed, and 2: Hacked clients will be(for the most part) nulled and useless. If Mojang didn't have a very clear upside to balance the downside of their community going on a frenzy, they wouldn't bring the update.

But yeah, everything in 1.9 seems reletively nice. Maybe an adjustment here and there on graphics, but it is very promising(Fun with bows, Harming bows will be hell to combat against though lol)

Can I say that, indeed, Knowledge is a Strength? Because that pretty much is a true strength
