Hey guys! Been a while, right? I just want to give a kind of a heads up and an explanation....? I think. I haven't been very active as I've been studying lately.. Now I know everyone studies and most people that know me know that I don't study because of the classes I do at school. If you didn't understand what I just said, neither did I so highfive. *smacks screen* I've been studying/training for being a Marine, yes, I am going to be a Marine, I have my basic training in about 5 months time. Before you start thinking that I'm trying to "bloat" about becoming a Marine, I really ain't, I'm making this to inform my friends and people that know me. I told a couple of my friends that I wanted to be apart of the Royal Navy a few months back, but I changed my mind after talking to a friend of my parents which is in the Royal Navy, some of you may find this stupid, but I don't, these are the reasons why I want to put my life more at risk: - At first, I wanted to be apart of the Royal Navy Flight Crew because of the money, I would of got 1.5k a month.. But after thinking about it so long, I thought "Why am I doing this for the money.. I should be doing this for my country not for some stupid paper notes." After talking to this man for a while he told me that you don't need to be very "skilled/fit" to get in the Navy, as people that were "chubby" and even people that didn't know how to swim got in. After hearing all this.. I came to the conclusion knowing that I am fit person myself after my 3 years of fitness training I decided to be a Marine, as not many people can be a Marine and many can be a Navy.. Basically I feel that I'm better of being a Marine as I think that I can be one and not many people can. I understand if you didn't read threw this fully, but yeah.. that's what's going to happen in my life. A big HI! to all my friends, hope to talk to you all soon, Joel. xx
That's pretty cool, I know its in a few months time but good luck in basic! Do not give up, basic is about seeing how much you can take.
I've always wanted a career fighting for our country, however I've set my "Limit" to becoming an agent of the FBI or, if I cannot obtain said status, I'll be studying Forensic Science to become CSI. I might enlist in the role of becoming a op unit in the USMC as well, however I would need to change my entire lifestyle to do so.
I know we don't know each other well but I just wanted to say good luck and I'll always support you :D
