@BossClaire told me on Twitter that helpers of the forums want the J&H forums wiki which I created about a year ago (remember that thing?) deleted. Could a staff user here give proof of this? I contacted a Wikia staff member about this and he says he's hesitant about deleting the wiki because others have been editing it, so I want to point him to proof that forum staff wants the wiki deleted.
That may have just been a personal opinion from those Helpers then. As far as I know, there's no official request for deletion.
She was last seen today a couple hours before your posted this thread she'll probably reply sometime tonight (for EST atleast)
Well then it might be personal opinion. Hence, I don't think we should really flag for complete deletion unless we get a solid order from staff. But I do have concern. I just rechecked and we do have some forumers (most of which are already gone though) with sensitive information on their pages. Even if I remove their page contents completely, there's a "history" button, which I do not want to see abused by anyone with bad intentions. The best thing we can do is delete the pages completely. Probably over the next year after we have purged all pages, we can contact again.
[Related to the IJAH Wiki] Wow, this thing is still standing? I edited mine, I prefer mine not to be deleted because why not? I could be one of those members that left this community with information from the past. Spoiler: If you want to read mine, here. http://jhforums.wikia.com/wiki/Enderbrine2_0
Well, you had sensitive information on your page so I had to delete it to prevent anyone else from seeing it.
"Sensitive" as I've used on the deletions means that any personal information, means anything within the range of just a mention of a face reveal here to complete home address and real name. Many forumers had their pages listing the states they live in and/or their siblings. Aside from the infamous editing, this is one of the reasons why we abandoned this wikia site.
Yea, I know about the wikia site. I totally forgot about it after a month, you guys brought back into my memory lol. Thanks for explaining it better. Also, it was a good idea to *purge* some pages, if information like that got into the wrong hands, it wouldn't have ended nicely.
I actually purged everything except the main pages. Some of them were nigh-empty pages, others had sensitive info, and the others are either no longer accurate or just spam. Sorry for bringing it back to memory, though. I had to take action because Map's page had been edited BEYOND logic by a troll, which brought me back there. I checked and horror happened. xD
Hmm. Really? I actually viewed the entire thing as "Dao told us to stop because we're putting a lot of things at risk and we did then we forgot". It could be my failing memory, though.
