You know the vote for president isn't a popularity vote / determined by the citizens? It's determined by an electoral college who are actually experienced politicians that vote and choose
it could be the 1912 election all over again, there are two republican nominations because they nit pick and name call (Donald trump/other person), they split the vote and the democrat wins. or there will be a nominee running as an independent (trump). Trump can't make up his mind, is he gonna run as a republican or an independent. who knows
I'd rathet hear people shout over topics on Teamspeak :) :) anyways, if you want to talk about it some more feel free to msg meh
The electoral college isn't a group of people. It is the system we use in which each state is assigned a certain number of points based off of the population. For example California is 55 points and Texas is 38 points. During the presidential election the first candidate to receive 270 points wins the election and becomes the new President. Why it is sometimes called the race to 270. The whole point behind a democracy is so the people have equal power and get to choose their leaders...... So it is in fact determined by the citizens and not experienced politicians. That picture isn't even correct and I never said I agree with Hillary or think she should win however regardless of what she did its a fact that as of now she is dominating the Democratic Polls and the Republicans are set to the hard core conservatives for their nomination like Trump and Carson so no matter who wins the Republican vote during the presidential election all moderate votes will go toward Hillary giving her an easy win.
What you said is partially true and is kind of a threat that Donald Trump has made. Trump has 30% of the votes, and he says that if the Republicans don't respect his decision, he will drop to 3rd party, and give Hillary basically a ticket into the whitehouse
Trump can't run as independent. Source: http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/sep/03/donald-trump-pledge-independent-president (not to mention countless other sources)
He has said in recent interviews however that he may still run as an independent if the other Republicans don't hold up on their end of the deal by respecting and supporting his campaign.
The electoral college is made up of people (representatives) from each state who vote those points. Did you have to google your definition?
Lol, so if i changed my custom title to "Make J&H Great Again" you would start spamming the owners to give me admin? Because thats basically what you say lol
Yes they vote their points for their states but they don't get to choose. The whole point of the election if for the people to choose their sates "Color". The representatives for each state choose the Presidential Candidate based off of their states election. They act as a messenger sort of but they don't freely choose who they want. And just because someone is educated means they googled their answer? Thats kind of an ignorant remark.....
Now, here's a post regarding Trump's campaign slogan: "Make America Great Again" America is two continents, and hell, the US doesn't even take up all of North America. Check your privilege.
