    IMO...:
    This doesn't make sense.
Problem here is that people don't understand what being a staff member really is about.
You don't join the team for free perks and popularity, you join it to help the server grow and remain fully operational.

Thing about being a staff member is that you really "stop" playing as a player and instead, you focus your time online helping others and putting them on the first place.
If you "convert" your playing time in to "work", you don't really lose any more extra time from your real life.

And all that "being a good staff member results in no social life" stuff is complete BS in my opinion because it has nothing to do with your life. It is just how individuals are in real life.
I am saying that because I was one of the better staff members here back then (not trying to make myself look better than the others), I have at the same time been Head Admin on other game related server, been moderating 3rd forum... All at the same time. Yet, I had good grades, best friends you could ask for, a Girlfriend and so on...

My point is, there's no such thing as "staff rank being worth something" because if you look at it that way, you're not suited for it anyway.

It really depends on your point of view, some people might not really be fit for the staff job, but to me, I have a fantastic time being able to help the server.

To me, The IJAH community has actually helped me with my Social skills as well with Maturing. before, i was a very awkward kid and i was too immature at the time i was a sophomore in high school :P but when i became more involved in the community by Senior year, making new friends, gaining more social skills by talking to people, and finally, being eligible to be apart of the staff team.

But back on the main topic here, It really depends on how you feel as a staff member, some people really enjoy it (like me) and some people it might not be the job for them. It all really depends on how you view the server.

Every move you make has a consequence.Being a helper lets you well, help people and make your day.But in my opinion though, this and social should be balanced.I'm not saying it's not worth it.But this job should only be up to some extent before it takes over your life.
It's like your parents work very hard and come late at night and since you don't have siblings, you're lonely. That's what your friends feel.
So if you ask me,it could be worth it IF at some extent.ItsJerry and ItsHarry should also ensure that the staff are not working too hard and spending some time with their family, friends and boyfriend/girlfriend.

Remember,in the end it's a game. You don't have to force yourself to work. But when you work, you bring your work quality to the MAX

But what if your parents come home very late, you have no siblings or friends or girlfriends or cousins and the only games you have are single player games?
