    I've seen so many ads of it, it looks pretty nice
    But I think Disney is what ruined it. Who knows, we'll have to see what it's like.

    Like, we've all seen Disney's overrated cheesy remakes. Not saying it will be bad, but wouldn't be surprised if it was.

    Yea it could become bad. But they have not a bad director and you know Disney, they could make it extremely good, or make it suck.

    They better not make Admiral Thrawn non-canon. The Empire Remnant was an awesome faction, not to mention Palpatine's revival and the Eclipse Star Destroyer. I know it's extended universe, but the new film shouldn't retcon the Empire Remnant.

    The deal with Star Wars is that it is probably the most famous movie franchise of all time, with some of the most iconic characters from anywhere and its major influence on people's lives. After how the sequels weren't as good as the original trilogy (Hayden Christianson was the worst actor... ever for Anakin), people are waiting for another film that could live up to the originals, also the original cast is starring, Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. It's Star Wars, how can it not be a big deal?
