In this thread, I would like to thank @05ocram05 (who is a recently demoted helper) for what he has done to the community.

Marco was one of the earliest people to get promoted on the "new" forums.
Ever since he got promoted, he has helped the community. He was funny, not scared to make jokes, but he was very serious when needed. I have rarely talked to Marco, but for the times I did, I can say he was helpful & mature. He was online when other staff weren't, which really helped new players from the other side of the world. Marco was a known and trusted member on J&H.

At the time I'm writing this, we haven't gotten any information about why he got demoted yet, but I hope there's a fucking good reason can understand for an admin to demote staff when needed, even though they are liked by the community.

I hope Marco will be remembered by this community, as he honestly deserves it.

 

I really liked Marco too, and I do hope we get a good reason for Marco's demotion.

But, if the reason is of a nature of U5ern4m3's or Treepid's demotion, then that is none of our business. Those are affairs that should stay private, and if Marco's demotion is such, then I plead to keep it private. But, if it isn't one such matter, then I plead to release it, as I believe the community should know and try to understand the reasoning behind the force-removal of a favored and veteran helper.

Wow, this thread kinda touched me

and just to clarify, the reason was inactivity.
I don't really agree with it, but I can't do much against it. It's as it is, and I will re-apply again someday.

I won't leave the server and I'll keep having the desire to come back as a staffmember. I really liked working here, and hopefully will be again sometime in the future.

 

Thank you so much Marco for helping this community in every way possible :) You were a great helper, but like all the legends say, all legends must go. 07.

Username was an IRL friend of J&H who recorded once with them and was a moderator, and Treepid was a loved moderator. Their actions though brought trouble to the owners. That is all anyone needs to know on those subjects.

Marco once said something to me after my demotion over a year ago. "I love how you apply again straight away instead of getting mad or leaving."
