Anime recommendations plez!

It is, but thats a sequel to another show called Avatar: The Last Airbender. Recommend watching that first to understand what everything is before you watch The Legend of Korra.

My favorite anime is Durarara right now. It's not that popular, but it's really good. All lot of it is about gangs and just life in a big city. There are also some supernatural elements.

Another show that I would recommend is Danganronpa. It's based off of a video game and it's kinda weird but it's pretty fun to watch. To sum it up in one sentence, it's basically just a teddybear forcing high schoolers to murder each other.

If you want to watch a funny, lighthearted series then you should watch Baka and Test or Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun. Both are rom-coms and even though I'm not really a fan of the genre they were pretty enjoyable.

Finally, there's Zankyou No Terror (Terror in Resonance). It's a pretty dark show but the animation and soundtrack is beautiful. Definitely one of my favorites.

 

Surprised Future Diary isn't here. Have you watched Future Diary (may be called Mirai Nikki) before? It's this battle royale-like anime with a lot of gore in it. I really liked it. There's not that many scenes which would be considered questionable, like Highschool DxD (let's just say I hate this anime with a passion). There's just a lot of gore and I guess it might get a bit predictable after a while, but the yandere keeps it in check. The queen of yandere is in this one.

Another would be Akuma no Riddle, but problem is, there's only one guy in it and it's not one of those types of anime. I think you know what I'm talking about. Basically there's this school with female assassins in one class and they try killing this one student. Last time I remember, there wasn't that many of those kinds of scenes. I feel this one's good if you like violence and can if you can really focus on what the heck is going on. This one is kind of like Mirai Nikki in the battle royale sense.

 

I highly recommend One Piece, it's awesome and really funny imo.
I also recommend Attack on Titan and Code Geass.

That's true, but also not true. Some people say that anime has to be originated from Japan to be called an anime, while others think not.

If you're trying to find a comedy anime i would say Himotou Umaru-chan but if you just want an anime with good story lines watch this long ass titled anime but with amazing story line called Yahario Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru . Fairy tail is ok as well but it has like a billions of episodes so yeah . Almost forgot, If you want a detective like stuff in the anime, watch Danganronpa. Apparently there's blood and stuff but they've changed the color of the blood into something else

There is this one anime called one punch man. Its a funny anime ( in my opinion ) but there's gore and and stuff so watch it at your own risk

Kuroko No Basket is good if you like sports and B-ball

Shokugeki no Soma is an amazing cooking anime that has alot of cool stuff, for a cooking anime. Its some good shit
Gintama is funny af too recommend watching that.
Yahario Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru is also good.

The genre you're looking for is shonen.

Owari no Seraph, Blue Exorcist, Tokyo Ghoul, Fate/Stay series, (except for prisma Illya). Those are the really dark and "edgy" popular ones. There are definitely more, even parodies like Chuunibyo, which is a romance, but a lot of series are made in Japan every year so you get a lot of rehashed stories that are cheaply made
