While I was strolling around, trying to change my gaming channel name it said "Birthday" I wanted to change it cause it was my fathers, that turned out to be a mistake. My google account was disbanded. I may never do youtube again! Oh, I wish there was something i could do, and something to cheer me up. :"(, Well, I deserved it, I never uploaded on it. Well, Hopefully I get it back. Love u all Edit: Im getting a hotmail tomorrow so I might make another YT :)
It might be because his age doesn't match the required age in Google's term of service, so when he added his birthday instead of his dad's, the system recognized that his account didn't have the required age, therefore disbanding his account. That's my explanation. Sorry if it didn't make any since.
I'll try to say it in simpler terms. You have to be 18 or older to have an account on YouTube. His dad's birthday is most likely older than that age requirement. So, when he changed the birthday from his dad's birthday to his own, Google disbanded his account because he is not old enough to use any service on Google. Is that better?
Wrong. You can be any age for a YouTube account, it's just that the age depends on when a YouTuber restricts their video to an age (e.g when you click on a video and it says "Rated R" on it, like that)
I know. I'm sorry, I was mistaken. To have a google account you have to be 13 years or older. Not 18. I am very sorry for the misunderstanding and I apologize. Anyways, he is still not old enough to own a Google Account. His Forum account says he is 10 years of age. The google age requirements can be read here. @Deadlyyyy If you want your account back, please visit this website. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1333913 Anyways, I hope this cleared things up.
I have to wait a month. Hopefully i will. Tried to change birth date and said i was 2 young. Ill have to wait a month, but thats what I'm planning.
That sucks. I would be livid if I lost my channel. I've put too much into it. I would probably go into shock. Luckily, you didn't lose any money or anything like that. You'll have a new channel soon enough. :)
