Scariest game for me is Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It's not terrifying, but the parts where the monsters relentlessly chase you are panic-worthy. The rest of the game is like a puzzle. Never really played too many horror games, but Amnesia is a pretty good one, in my opinion.
@Kryokin #Memories The scariest game I played was probably FNaF 4 because of the level of apprehension, every time you go up to a door, you have to listen for breathing, and if you turn on the flashlight you will die instantly ;-;
Hm, really? Never really got into the FNaF games, I only played the first game and the second game demos. Never knew it was that spooky.
Well about a year ago, I was addicted to your little Amnesia game there to the point where it was... too much... it took over my life but around 6 months ago I just abruptly quit for no reason and don't plan on returning. In my opinion, FNaF 1 was terrible since the jumpscares were just so ethereal. FNaF 2 was the best in terms of stress, where everything is always going wrong. You're just in a state of total panic thanks to that dramatic music that plays whenever the animatronics are close. FNaF 3 was trash, then FNaF 4 was amazing in terms of scares, the switch to audio was fantastic, and probably gave me the best scares of my life. If you're immune to jumpscares etc, FNaF is not the game for you, sadly. Another one of my favorite horror games was Sinthai's The House and Sinthai's The House 2. They're both point-and-click games with jumpscares like FNaF, but are hosted online. It's been about 4 years since I played either of those games.
oh snap, i didn't even notice you were failedexperiment! this is pastelpencils, wow xD I can relate, I haven't played much of the Amnesia game in a while, but it's atmosphere is a bit dry, in my opinion. The only "scary" thing about it is really the part where it came to the monsters chasing you. That's really all I find scary of it. True, about the FNaF series: I liked the games, as it was different than most horror games. FNaF 1 was a bit dry for me after I played it for awhile; it's easy to track where the animatronics are after getting used to the game. FNaF 2 is probably my favorite one, due to how stress-inducing it is, and how it's like a challenge. and toy foxy hue FNaF 3... Never really played, but I've seen it. Seems a bit confusing for me, but it's not really scary. FNaF 4... I'll admit, I'm a bit afraid to play that. I haven't yet understood the whole thing how you're supposed to keep them away, so I'd probably have a major panic attack while playing, lol. Maybe one day, though. Never really played too many horror games, I tend to be too jumpy/panicky. I've seen some gameplays, though, the one that scares me the most is Vapour. Either that or I'm too much of a wuss, haha.
But in conclusion we all know that the scariest game ever is Minecraft and what the hell Microsoft is doing to it...
I'm sorry you had to know this game existed. It's spooky. It is so spooky it has been called the worst game of all time. or whatever this guy was playing.
Presentable Liberty It's not scary in the sense of fear, but scary because of the isolation of a prison cell. It's also super depressing.
Isn't really scary now, but it was for me when I was younger; Halo CE, especially the levels 343 Guilty Spark and The Library, the Flood were so intimidating, and the fear of them stacked up as the levels went on.
I don't really know, when I was little I watched my cousin play slender and I couldn't sleep for the next 3 nights lol xD
CS:GO, if you're the last person left your whole team expects you to do something epic, but if you don't you're kicked from the server (my cousin let me play it I actually don't have it)
Silent Hill PT was very scary. The moment when I started the game and I was getting up off that concrete floor and saw two cockroaches stuck together, I knew this was going to give me nightmares.
