I've been working on a survival games map called Emerald City for a while, and I wanted to show some things I've done so far in the map. Map name: Emerald City Map focus: This map is focused on vertical gameplay, although there is still a big horizontal aspect. The map also often sees fights upon precarious locations. Description: In the abandoned opulence of Emerald City, many treasures remain undiscovered. 16-24 players. Screenshots: Spoiler: Screenshots Cornucopia: Cornucopia: Center building top: Center building middle: Center building bottom: Generator room: Mineshaft: Hope you like it so far. Any suggestions?
Very nice, although I suggest on the outside doing some cool emerald pixelart or designs with green wool :P
I've also been considering doing that, but it's quite different from what I'm used to doing on Forge in Halo, so I can't get the outcome I want.
Maybe you can add some more interior detail. You can maybe add some secret passages too, unless you already have some.
I do have some secret passages in the mineshafts, some using the good ol painting covering the entrance trick, and one using the lava minecart trick.
I really like the map Unit! Also did you get the inspiration to build this map from the movie The Wizard of OZ?
Yes, it is kinda obvious after all. That movie and Oz the Great and Powerful inspired me to make this map, because the city is, despite being iconic, mysterious and unknown.
