Report Abuse Threads?

I don't know if this is to stop flame wars but I went into the 'Report Abuse' threads and I couldn't see another post from anyone in the, Advertisement & Spamming, Hacking Cheating, Glitching & So on, Is this a forums bug or is this to really stop flame wars?

 

All the threads in the Report Abuse section are auto-locked, only staff can reply to them due to multiple flame wars in the past

 

even the staff applications? how can flame wars start in the staff applications

 

So only staff can access report abuse, bugs & staff applications?

 

It would seem so, except bug reports are viewable by non-staff.

The thing with staff applications is that they can drift off topic massively at times and most of the comments are generally uneeded. Most comments I see are just tips. Sure, a few tips are okay but if multiple tips are given, it's basically the people commenting that are writing the application and not the actual creator. I think just having them being reviewed by staff is much better imo and it will prevent the likes of bumps, flame wars and rumours being started if an app gets so and so many likes, etc.

Why can't we view staff applications or abuse reports?

 

Same with staff applications non-view able for all of us normal members besides the staff members they can only look at them right now

 

They are slowly adding it all back .
