Other Games Yu-gi-oh Best Cards?

If you do not play yu-gi-oh or know much about it, I suggest you don't read on.

Post below what cards you think are very awesome and great. I am not talking about the automatic winner cards (So yeah not talking about Exodia the Forbidden One) but cards you think are specially good in their own ways. I will be showing this card right here (I happen to own one in my own deck)


So first of all, it is a 4 star monster, so you can summon it normally without tributing and monsters. Second, it has an attack of 1800 and defense of 1600- and I have seen level 5 monsters worse than that. That is one of the highest attacks AND defense for the same monster below level 4. Finally, to top it off, it can change it's attribute once per turn- for free. Oh hey, have some nice effects for fire monsters? Here is homunculus! This guy is epic. The best level 4 monsters are defined by an attack of 1800+ or defense of even more higher than 1800, yet most of those monsters lack the other. Like attack of 1900, but defense of 400. This card has a high attack and defense- and it has a positive effect for free! No cost, no contest, this card is a beast.

 

Evilswarm Ophion, stops most special summons of Synchro, Pendulum and Fusion Monsters from levels 5-12, can detach for an Infestation card which benifits Lswarm monsters, and can pretty much fetch a Forbidden Lance without the attack reduction, plus it's a good beatstick with 2550 atk and best of all, it doesn't stop Xyz Summons on your field and the fact that it's a Rank 4 Xyz monster is pretty good as well. I'd say it's effect is pretty overpowered and the fact that it's at 3 in the TCG makes it a threat to Synchro, Pendulum and Fusion decks. Unfortunately, I'm broke and I can't get an Evilswarm deck core for myself. Also, there's 2 monsters that I can think of that have 2000 atk and are level 4 with no downsides, besides 100 Defense.

USE THESE 2 CARDS TOGETHER! I own the first card. I want the 2nd one...


Edit: I think Inverse Universe is pretty better than shield & sword...

 

I don't feel like posting the cards but back in the day, the cyber decks were lethal if you were really good at tactically playing and had good spell/trap cards.

Gimmick puppet decks are great also.

 

To be completely honest, Shield and Sword isn't all that good, only use for it is on mons with more defense than attack, would be better off as a quickplay, might be better. Completely forgot to mention that I run an Obelisk deck IRL, and I'm currently needing Overload Fusion and Dimensional Prison to finish it

I saw most of the VERY powerful cards are banned or not usable in tournaments o_O

 

No duh, Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End was banned for a reason
Some of the cards on the banlist as of July are on there because people were able to exploit them to create First Turn Kills, such as Substitoad and Yata-Garasu

 

Sometimes I am browsing through a bunch of cards I have in a big container and I find a level 2 card with very low attack and defense (around 200) and I am like "Yay! I wonder what the effect is!" And when I find out it has no effect...

SERIOUSLY WHY DID YOU BOTHER TO MAKE CARDS NOBODY WILL EVERRRR USE!!!!!
