I wasn't really in the mood for making a Grammar Nazi lesson today, so here's a few tips for the forums that I have thought of that can make it a better place... i guess... NOTE: I am not responsible for any failures resulting in you listening to these tips. Tip 1: If you agree with a suggestion, but don't have any specific reasons to comment about, don't just comment on it saying "AGREED". You should like the person's post instead of posting an unthoughtful post, for it will be criticized by many. Tip 2: If you agree and disagree with a suggestion for different reasons, specify the reasons and use this convenient portmanteau. DISAGREED Tip 3: This is a simple one. If you post incorrectly in a Forum Games thread, immediately change your post to make it correct as fast as you can to avoid further confusion throughout the thread. Tip 4: If you are not quite sure how to spell a word, search your spelling of it on Google and use the correct spelling. Tip 5: Don't Type Like This, It Annoys People A Lot And Hurts Our Eyes. Tip 6: Do not post a "leaving" thread if you are not absolutely, positively sure that you are leaving. It causes spam in the forums, and it is just plain annoying. Tip 7: Do not bring up your issues from real life. We do not need to know about your suicidal thoughts or disorders. That is for you to discuss with important people in real life, not people from the Internet that you've never met before. I'm talking to you, person who created the thread "Whet r yer disorders"... Tip 8: Do not post threads about you being "inactive" every day. If people notice that you are inactive, they will say something. If you post a thread about you getting grounded every 5 seconds, nobody will reply nor really care anymore. Tip 9: Do NOT date anyone in Minecraft. It will very obviously end horribly and you will never actually meet each other. Your parents will eventually realize and think that you're weird. They will also probably ground you for dating without their permission... even though it's not real dating. PERC AND SERA. Tip 10: Do not make a name with a bunch of random characters around it to make it "Cool." It is completely confusing and nobody actually knows how to say your name. Examples: XxProStatusXx, -=-=-=Badie007=-=-=- Tip 11: Make a username that people can actually pronounce that is not confusing. I'm talking to you, Yomc and Ncecal.
No offense, but I feel like you kind of ran out of ideas around number 8. How is it a tip not to make names with xXxXx (even though I personally despise them just as much) and to not make confusing names? Don't get me wrong, the first 8 are good.
I see no issue with pronouncing Yomc or Ncecal. Just pronounce it as WhyOMC and N-see-Cal Even though you did put a lot of effort. I can disagree with some of these tips from this one and your second one. You're basically forcing people to follow them or you report them. Could have asked a staff member before making some tips
The problem here is that this thread is getting attention now even though I made it 2 weeks ago and nobody noticed the fact that someone replied to an old thread. GG. I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. These are optional tips to try and help the forums, not some official rule book. Also, nobody noticed TIPS Volume 2....
