On Steam, whenever I try to load a game in my library, it instantly crashes. For example, TF2, when I click on the game it'll do the "steam is launching tf2" thing then it'll go through the cut scenes where it says who the game was made by and then it just crashes back to my desktop? pls help

Then it might be something with your game files. When did it work last?

    I would try this :

Right click on the game . Then do go to properties

Then go to LOCAL FILES, then select VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE.

Then just go through the steps

Sorry for dubble post, this will probably do the trick,

    1. Go to your folders
    2. Go to your computer hard drive
    3. Go to program files x86
    4. Click the steam app
    5. Delete the app cache folder
    Now see if it works!

This used to happen to me. Don't let it start the game automatically after updates. HCchicken is right about the app cache though, I'm almost certain of it.
