Your Thoughts on the server?

From the start, I have always loved being on the ItsJerryandHarry server and having the chance to communicate to other players and be apart of a great community. Every server has players that do not obide with the rules and guidelines but that is why we have staff, to help get rid of some of these troublemakers ;) I love playing Skyblock and have recently gotten into Herobrine but would love to see the minigame Skywars added to the server. :)

 

Well, this server has staff barely better than mineplex's. Staff is lazy and all they do is hang out in the hub. I mean, factions is overwhelmed with hackers. And yet staff are talking to their donator friends. I just think staff should be more active on more parts of the server. That's my opinion.

 

The server is actually pretty good. Staff is really efficient at solving inner-team problems, as I've seen for myself. Right now, I believe that we have enough staff to satisfy the server, but as @Abcdhax has said, too many hackers. I believe that is due to a lack of strength on hacking punishments. I mean, hacking isn't a non-violent drug offense(US jail-time joke), and we need to be stricter like other servers.

Not to argue, but the reason the staff hangs out in the hub is due to the fact is if someone is cussing on the parkour section and they see a staff is on the parkour section they will stop. That is why they ask you to post it on the forums so they have that solid proof it was happening.

Think about it like this:
ME: *Cusses and uses Racial Slurs in the Parkour Section*
YOU: *Goes to the hub and reports it to a staff member*
STAFF: *Goes to parkour section*
ME: *See's staff member and stops*
STAFF: *Does not see the player cussing/ using racial slurs so they can't do anything*

Now if you report it on the forums, and I still stop when the staff member enter. They have that screenshot and video that I was using racial slurs so I can no longer say I did not use slurs, because they have that proof so they can take action.

Does that clear things up?

I've been on ijah for some time now and it's come to be my favorite server. This server has gotten me through some tough times that I've never shared and I look forward to talking to the community every day. I legitimately ONLY play on this server. I'm very dedicated to it and I'm satisfied with all the mini games. If you saw my pc the server's name is "My Home" on my computer. Believe me I used to be involved in other servers and even staff, but I've never gotten tired of ijah. <3

 

In my vision, Jerry and harry has been the number 1 spotlight server for me. It's given me lots of positivity and goodness ever since I joined. The community is astonishing and the staff are rejuvantingly amazing.
I think they've done the job that is required in every single server to make it respire. I hope this goes on forever, to make Jerry and Harry a better place

 

In my opinion on what I have seen for the past (almost) 3 years that I have been on the server, the community has gotten better and better. I still think that there are numbers of improvements that the community can work on but right now, I really enjoy it. All of the friends that I have made have changed me, as a person, and just another loyal forumer/player which makes me truly happy. Without the friends that I have on this server, I would not be entering my third year on this server in 10 days.

No. Most of my reasons are just because of this thread.

Reason #1: My thoughts are a proper noun now, because of the forums.


Reason #2: You have a poll on the server owner's forums asking if the community likes the server/forums or not.
ItsJerry was confirmed & admitted himself to being the Illuminati.
90% of the community aren't even eligible/adults (18+) to vote legally anyways.
Plus, a lot of the community lie about their public opinions for popularity, to look nice, or to be suck up fans/wannabes.
Coincidence for high votes for 'yes' on the poll? 'Yes.'


3. Helpers do the moderator's duties because most staff that are promoted to moderator become inactive/lazy once they've achieved their goal of having a staff title that is less slave-suggestive, and there's less competition to get a mod+ promotion than there is to get a mod promotion (apparently).




4. Willy removes the 'English-only rule' due to it being a lot of work and time consuming to moderate (Image D_A). I guess they gave up on being able to translate every single language spoken on the server. The huge amount of recent promotions still weren't enough (Image D_B). He probably took out his anger by titling the thread with a huge word that 99.9% of people-who-have-struggled-to-learn-English-to-be-able-to-stay-on-the-server-and-were-probably-part-of-that-huge-wave-of-dislike-towards-that-old-rule wouldn't understand. Even I had to google the word because Australians don't like big words. Well...who does anyways.

I farely like the server because it is different to most other servers. The hackers and unneeded people are less on this server as the staffs are all doing its best to clear them out. But what I have to say is for the people who don't think the staff are doing a good job to have a rethink:
1st. staffs is what keeps the servers in place
2nd. staffs don't have a million eyes to keep a eye on every single minigame in this server. So that's why they hang out in the hub. Its actually your job if you see a hacker or someone doing the wrong thing to just do /hub and talk to a staff about it, if not then just report with solid proof.
3rd. im sure the server is still looking for staff member which can be on at different times.
but overall I have found this server to be the best and forever the best. If not for this server, I would of already quit minecraft about 2 years ago :)
