Liberal or Conservative?

I do have a possibly difficult question if there is no study proving this. Is being a Conservative or Liberal a characteristic decided at birth or is it something your raised unto being? There is a study that shows that just by looking at a few disturbing pictures, you can tell wether or not you are conservative or liberal based on your disgust level. Furthermore, I'm just going to say hypothetically that it is something your raised into, since from my personal perspective believes are not a characteristic, but more-so something you practice and inherit daily (E.G. Religion). However, I do desire revisionism on my perspective if necessary.

 

A liberal and a conservative is nothing that you are born with. I'm no expert with politics, but they are opposing forces, Conservatives for a Republic, and Liberals for a Democracy. Most Liberals believe in Barrack Obama as a perfect president. I'm a conservative. I don't think Obama has what it takes to be president, but at the same time I agree with Liberals on their green system. While I'm no supporter of global warming, I am open to trying more methods of farming energy. Geothermal, wind, solar, hydro are all elements we have that we could use. I'm not aiming to completely remove all fossil fuels though.

In all, though I consider myself conservative, I don't really like to mention it, as it leads to political debates I don't want any part in. I've already heard enough about Isis.

Thank you for the clarification. I never thought of it being a characteristic anyway considering what I said and apart of what you said as well.

 

Although I am a conservative, I am open to many liberal ideas. I believe in a lot of things they believe in. My father is a full on Conservative, and that's what inspired me to join this side, but I'm thinking it's time I chose my own path. My father hates all Muslims because of Isis and the crusades of the 1400s. I honestly don't hate Muslims one bit. In fact, Muslims on the server are such nice people, I have been thinking of converting to Islam.

I also agree with liberals that the planet could run out of fossil fuels, not that it's polluting the atmosphere or anything, but fossil fuels are not a renewable resource, and it's better to find a new source of energy now before we run out :)

Liberals are mostly from the millenial generation, and so are most of the peeps on this forum. This explains the poll.

 

Fyi, Not all Liberals think Obama is a perfect president.
He's not Liberal enough in my opinion.

 

Independent, I actually look and see who actually is a good politician.

 

Did you do a poll? "Some" might be more appropriate to say.

I'm liberal and I think Obama is okay but far from perfect IMO; I'd just like to point out that even liberals think Obama has done a bad job.

1. His domestic policy is fine IMO
2. His foreign policy sucks balls IMO
3. Congress is at fault for what a lot of people say is Obama's fault. By this I mean filibustering (cockblocking legislative process) and other a-hole moves that prevent the president from signing bills, etc. Now, that's NOT solely my opinion.

 

Anarchism and Liberalism are two very different things. Liberalism is a political power. Anarchism is a form of government. (Despotism, Republic, Monarchy, Democracy, Communism, etc.) but Anarchism means no law whatsoever. If you're voting for this country to be an anarchy, by all means, be prepared to be at risk of murder on the streets.
