J&H staff are lazy *Read*

@gaminggoblin I'm going to be as calm as I can because many people (mostly staff) most likely want to strangle you due to your comments. (Strangle is not literal)

Your opinion is based only on what you see from the outside. There is no evidence to back it up. If you have evidence, you are free to report us in the staff abuse section.

Show me the job description because there is no official document saying that we need to do that.

Please stop telling us how to do our job. This never even happens.

We discuss reports behind the scenes quite often so sometimes that happens.

Again, no proof.

Please take your concerns to the staff power abuse forum when you get solid evidence instead of slandering us here.

That report was rightfully denied by my co-staffer @Jessiee . there are a few hits with no knock back in the beginning, but stuff like that can happen with non hackers. The results of the rest of the hits are cut off by the end of the video. Therefore there is not enough evidence to truly confirm any anti knock back. We know hacks very well sir, but we choose to be as careful as possible. :)

If you believe your points are right, then you should reconsider your thoughts.

Not to be mean but your points are based on emotional unsupported radical, abusive claims about staff and staff whereabouts. Clearly something staff has done to you has brought you to view staff with bias. Therefore, your claims have no validity.

I have dealt with many pains in the asses and I guess I still am. I've taken care of over 500 hackers in my time here so tell me again that I don't take care of pain in asses.

Staff are most likely talking about it already....

 

Actually, most times I've seen a hacker in game and told a staff about it on /msg, they actually checked it out in game for me.

Most recent example: I pretended to be friends with a guy who told me he hacks, and I saw him using xray and walk on water etc hacks. So I notified a staff and they checked it out within a few minutes and banned him.

Though there has also been a time where basically EVERYONE in the chat was saying offensive/dumb/racial things and there was only 1 staff around to deal with it. It must have been hard work to warn/kick everyone who was taking part in the massive bullying streak. All the members were also saying bad things about this staff member. Though I did see them on the parkour, it doesn't mean they weren't doing their job. They dealt with it as good as possible and ignored the haters.

So my point is mods aren't perfect, they make mistakes too. The forums is a much much easier way to report people, but that doesn't mean they won't check people out in game either.

 

Exactly, and the constant complaints about staff not doing anything when messaged is based off one person's single experience: not reflective of the whole staff team.

 

You even may remember this, but someone tped me into some place and we were watching the hacker, and I think you banned him after I left.

 

Yes I have dealt with endless in game faction issues (as have others), proving the haters on this thread completey wrong.

 

I've came across this thread many times, without wanting to respond, but I decided to.

Here's my opinion on the thread title, "J&H staff are lazy", yes I understand that things aren't always going to go as you planned, just because the staff may not look busy, does NOT mean that they aren't. As I am not a staff member, I have no idea what the team does, but I am sure that there is behind the scenes work that is done, which can keep our staff busy, not always able to solve reports, or handle problems in game. Which is hard to understand seeing that there are plenty of staff members, but you never know what they are handling at the time you want them to do something, wait a while, maybe even a day, I've done it alot, I have went from my report not being solved in 1/2 days, I deat with it, and moved on without making a thread public to complain about it. Yes, I have made threads to complain, but I have learned since then. If you believe a staff member is not doing their job correctly, or is having a negative attitude towards you, instead of making a PUBLIC THREAD, you can go to the staff abuse section and report privately. I am thankful that we have a staff team, people who work VERY hard to serve this community with everything they have. Many reports are solved, which takes time seeing that one person has to go to another server, check the proof, and verbally tell/warn the player to stop doing this or that, plus watch teamspeak, and the forums. That can be pretty rough at times. I have had trouble with the staff team, but I know that everything won't always go my way, and I have learned from that. Instead of drowning the staff team, I would be thankful that they are here to stop someone from harassing your friend, or even you, which this is not directed towards anyone, just an example.

Seeing that I have watched over parkour and lobby, I know how chat works. Parkour & Lobby are two of the most risky chats on the server, parkour is filled with profanity, harassment, arguments, etc. Lobby is a comfortable place for advertisers to come visit, and since our staff team are there, they can handle it right then right there. Yes, I know it's weird seeing 8+ staff members in the lobby, but you never know why they are there.

All I am trying to say is that we (the community) should be thankful for what we have. This community would go downhill without our staff, they do so much work to make us happy and for that I am happy to be here. Thanks.

 

I don't think staff are lazy. They very active if you ask me.

If you were on the server more, you could see that staff actually do "shit" by solving reports, it's our job to report them, not to go and annoy the crap out of them. Sure, staff take a little more than a long time to solve SOME reports, but that doesn't mean you can call them lazy. Staff try their hardest to keep us comfort. Remember, this community doesn't have THAT many staff compared to so many people. And as I said on another thread, it's just what makes up the community, live with it and deal with it. As for me, I'm really happy to see the staff do their job.

This isn't hate, we're just telling you the aspects of the staff.

I believe anyone who think the staff members are "lazy" are just ignorant.
The staff spend hours solving reports, moderating the servers and doing that stuff when they could seriously be spending those hours doing something else more enjoyable.

I really don't think people should be making threads saying how bad of a job the staff are doing, we should be thanking them. If we didn't have the staff members, the server would be filled with bugs, bullies and hackers. So really, without staff members IJ&H wouldn't be fun. The staff members mainly moderate servers now, they don't get to goof around and spend hours playing mini-games like you do, they spend those hours helping around moderating the place.

Just crappy helpers? Is that all they are to you? I am seriously blown away of how someone could even be rude enough to say this. They are not just "crappy helpers". If you didn't know, Moderators handle the hacking and cheating reports and Helpers do the chat involved reports.

Does it really matter how long it takes for staff members to solve a report? In the end they will always get to it, they wouldn't just skip it and leave it.

 

Yes it does becauase what if you're trying play a game but mr. Anoymus is kill auraing the crap out of everyone when ms. Moderator is at hub chatty chatty when she could be helping players who want to enjoy their time online

 

It's our job as players to report the cheaters, bugs and bullies and it's the staffs job to solve it. Staff will come solve whats going on in game while it's happening if it is chat related, but it's a bit hard to do that with hacking because most of the time the hackers will stop if they see a staff anywhere.

 

Ms Moderator is an unpaid volunteer.

First of all, *develop.
Second of all, if you report it, the player will not get away. They will either be banned for whatever it is it may be, or the report will be denied because they are not doing what ever they are doing wrong.
Most of the time, staff are very quick to get to the reports. The odd time they aren't they are most likely taking a further look into what happened or if they are hacking or not.

 

But it will take staff a long to get to the report
And thus player gets away with hacking or anything else
