[Guide] How to install/play modpacks

    INSTALLING MODPACKS

    This is a guide on how to install and play modpacks to play with your friends!

    Want to play Pixelmon? Maybe perhaps SkyFactory 2?

    I will supply a step-by-step tutorial on how to be able to install it.

    // Step 1 //
    Type in the address bar 'atlauncher.com'.

    // Step 2 //
    Click on the 'Downloads' button next to the 'Contact Us' button.

    // Step 3 //
    Once you clicked on the 'Downloads' button, scroll down until you see the actual downloads.

    // Step 4 //
    Once you scrolled down, click on the download button that matches with your system. If you're running Windows, download the Windows version. Running a Mac? Click the Mac OSX button. Same goes for Linux.

    // Step 5 //
    Once you clicked on the desired download button, you should be able to find the ATLauncher in your downloads file. Click on it.

    // Step 6 //
    Once you clicked on the application, this should show up on your screen: Screen Shot 2015-09-12 at 8.00.53 PM.png

    This should lead you to the setup button, giving you the ability to choose a language.

    // ALTERNATE Step 6 //
    Sometimes the ATLauncher doesn't run quite as planned, so this is what this step is for.

    If you ATLauncher doesn't load in under 5 minutes, then perform this command.

    WINDOWS: Ctrl + Alt + Delete
    This should show your running processes. Find ATLauncher and click on 'End Process'.

    MAC/APPLE: CMD + Alt/Option + Esc
    This should also show your running programs. Find ATLauncher and click on 'Force Quit'.

    Reload ATLauncher and continue on to Step 7.


    // Step 7 //
    Once you set up the language setting, click on 'Accounts' on the right side of the launcher. Log in as usual. (ATLAUNCHER WILL NOT MESS WITH YOUR ACCOUNT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM.)

    Once you log in, click on 'Packs'. This should pop up:

    Then, choose a pack you would like to play. For this tutorial I will choose Pixelmon. Once you found your desired pack, click on 'New Instance'.

    Click on 'Install', wait for the assets to load, and there you go!

    You can know play Modpacks!

    Thanks for reading my step-by-step tutorial on how to install and play modpacks! This is my first tutorial, and this took 20 minutes to make!
