Ok so, I used to own a drumset but it didn't really sound good so I got rid of it. (No I didn't throw it away)
I'm trying to look for a nice set now with good sound and at a cheap price too. It doesn't have to be too professional since its only for a small band I started. So, anyone got any ideas? So far I found this:
    Tama Imperialstar 5 Piece
(Similar the one I used to own but it sounds better and it's cheaper)

If you want an electronic set I reccommend Roland。 I'm not sure why I said pearl the first time。 I ment Roland。 their electronic is really good. If you want a regular, I'd agree with poppy a custom is good. Not that it matters and you probably already know this if you're a drummer Vic firth sticks are da bomb k.

I have that exact drum set, lol. Tbh, I love it. It's not one of those cheap drum sets, it has quality. I have added some things to it like, an Iron Cobra double pedal, some splash cymbals, an extra crash, a cowbell, and two jam blocks.

If you're going Electronic, I recommend Roland

    Drums
If any drum kit, I would recommend a DW since they are from my perspective, the best made kits in all of the market. Considering their unique ways of being hand crafted and like most good drum kits, being 100% Maple, they are good drum kits. They also have good values, such as PDP which is their more beginner line of drum kits but also consists of the Concept which is listed under both the PDP and DW brands and is available for an extremely good price and is an extremely good set. They are also available in either Maple or Birch:

Not to mention the concept is also the drum kit I own. However, if you are looking for any other types of drum kits, I would recommend looking on the DW website and see. If I were you, I would search for a drum kit that is either made of maple or birch since those sets tend to produce the better sound.

Pearl and Yamaha also make good drum sets, though I am unsure about their value. Tama really doesn't please me as much as some of the other manufacturers.

    Cymbals
If you are playing rock and are looking for more rock cymbals, then I would recommend buying Sabian cymbals. If you are looking for value for a good price, then I would recommend buying The XS20s which are also the cymbals I have but are good and out for an extremely affordable price and are also made of the bell bronze, or in other words B20 bronze:

If you are looking for a more affordable price, then I would recommend the B8s.

For Jazz playing, and for rock playing a little bit, I would recommend purchasing the Zildjian Ks or K custom though those aren't really out for a very affordable price, but those are the cymbals my school uses and they sound amazing.

    Hardware
Again, I would recommend DW or PDP if you are searching for good hardware.

Frankly, this is an expensive list, since I don't necessarily prefer the cheaper drum kits as they don't produce as good amount of sound as some other kits you could get. Also, like most drummers I'm biased when it comes to purchasing drum kits so yeah. I would just recommend saving up your money until you can afford a good kit that produces good sound and has good value to it, like the ones I recommended to you.
