Staff Mistake?

Please dont get mad at me for posting stuff about staff, IM AM NOT ABUSING THEM, IM JUST TELLING MY OPINION!

This is a small mistake, but it could backfire. (Sorry, i dont know how to say it)
Alright, so somebody reports a hacker, but since he/she is new to the forums, they dont know what happening, or what are the rules are. Here's what happens:
STAFF, im am talking to you! You have not might of think of this person is actually alerting staff members to go to them in game because there they have found a hacker, so you could see for yourself the hacker hacking and ban the hacker.(Too much hackers ugh)
This person might not have followed the format, but he/she is trying to alert staff members to go to them in game, they are not acually making a report, MAYBE!!!

Idk, but what do you guys think? Let me know!

 

Look at the time it was reported. I doubt the person was still there after 8 hours lol.

Anyways, that's not how we work. You report with evidence in the report abuse section as required, not to alert staff to come on to ban in game.

 

Before you go to report the player there is clearly a thread telling you how to write a report.
If you somehow miss it, that's the player's fault and the staff shouldn't have to chase them for evidence.

btw is it possible to alert staff members in game? if not, you have to suffer the poor framerate my recorder records.

 

You can always go to hub to find a mod to ban hackers in game. Otherwise you should just record it.

 

All forum reports for in-game actions require sufficient proof. Caity was correct in denying this report.

 

Usually there are staff in lobby, or depending in which timezone, you have Me in Skyblock2 and Nether in Factions during 4-9pm Australasia zone, Roc/John jump between Survival and Skyblock mostly, occasionally going to lobby and Parkour. Cingle generally is in lobby/parkour. YFIOTR and Mawly (Diffracting or however you spell it) are also in Factions a lot (Mawly comes on roughly around when Nether does, and YFI comes on a LOT later, ~12 hours from now iirc). Caity generally spends some time in the creatives.
A lot of staff also spend time in AgarPvP now, so during the peak hours (American afternoon) you will have a good chance of seeing a staff there.

Tl;Dr American timezone good for finding staff, Australasia not so much. Agar/Lobby/Factions is your best bet for finding staff.

I'm perfectly fine about this.

However, he had plenty of time to include the sufficient evidence and there is even a thread stating what evidence is necessary for hacking reports. If people don't read that, that's their fault.

To continue my edit, I completely understand that it might just be a signal for staff to go there, however I think reports are better than begging a staff member. We can keep a some-what record of who hacks and such.
