I never said you were dumb, sorry if I left that impression. My point that I'm basically defending is that 1.9 will actually be good, because we are going to rely more on our own minds instead of gear and hardware.
May I make a suggestion? Try to say what specifically you do not like about the system so mojang knows exactly what you want them to change, such as the sword cool down speed, or how long lingering potions stay on the ground. Also add some reasoning and explanation as to why you don't like the new pvp, and what you would rather it be like.
Mojang doesn't read the forums here genius, and go get the snapshot instead of your big mouth yip yapping about it, that won't solve anything.
The people complaing about 1.9 pvp are complaining because it takes skill now Anyway, I believe you will be able to change it
Thank you for calling me a genius, I appreciate it ^-^ Also, I didn't say Mojang reads these forums. They do read Twitter and other forms of social media though. I didn't intend to "solve anything" either - I'm quite happy with the update. I only wished to help you build your skills in arguing and debating.
I was being sarcastic, and didn't need to always explain rudely, and I don't need "help" so bring you sass mouth somewhere else.
Jitterclicking isnt a skill. Yah, your correct. If it isn't a skill do it right now and try to pvp with it, while trying to keep aim and at the same time strafing, comboing and managing your pots/soups.
I really like what's coming in 1.9, but the only thing I'm not 100% about is the cool down for swords and tools. That's probably cause I'm so used to the current pvp style that's just spam-clicking, strafing, fishing rod, etc. But in 1.9 you'll need to use better tactics that people have stated previously.
If J&H really want to keep the spam clicking a thing, they can make sharpness enchanted hoes a weapon found in loot chests in survival games and such since hoes have little to no cool down.
