I'm in the market for an entry level drawing tablet. Currently looking at this http://www.monoprice.com/Product/?c_id=108&cp_id=10841&cs_id=1084101&p_id=5553&seq=1&format=2 Anyone have any experience with it?
Nah don't buy this. I play Osu, in which the more experienced players (like I) play with graphical tablets to do difficult hand manuevers to aim directly at the oncoming circles that appear on the screen. This requires high precision tablets, to which you can't go wrong by buying a wacom tablet. Simply put, they are the best brand for graphical tablets, check out their website over here http://www.wacom.com/en-us I don't know if you would also like your tablet to allow you to use it as a trackpad (like the macbook's) so that you can use the tablet also for browsing and multi-tasking (Tablets with pen & touch function), the wacom tablets that include this are more expensive than the normal for drawing-only tablets (Tablets with pen function only). Conclusion: I recommend you to buy: Tablet for drawing (only): http://www.wacom.com/en-us/products/pen-tablets/intuos-pen Tablet for drawing with trackpad abilities: http://www.wacom.com/es-es/products/pen-tablets/intuos-pen-and-touch-small As you will see, the tablet for drawing only costs 70 dollars while the one that also includes a trackpad experience costs almost a 100 dollars. At the end of the day it is your choice, but I would recommend you to ditch the touch version and go for the pen only tablet.
I play Osu too... occasionally. I tried to use my ASUS tablet for Osu, a track pad and drawing, but that wasn't very good. I think I'll go for the Intuos small, that looks really good for what I'm doing. Thanks for the info.
You want a wacom bamboo mate, that's not gonna do you any good if you're doing big drawings. (I don't mean big in size)
