So I haven't rlly been enjoying for games so I decided to get a few I got destiny and I don't know which class to choose Titan,Warlock,or hunter @Unit50079 halp
I will give a brief description of the 3, and also tell you how they do in a raid. (Crota's End.) Hunters: IMO the most challenging of the 3 as they have a triple jump (If you use gunslinger.) They also have a few difficult grenades to use to such as trip mine grenades, etc. Also later in the game you (lvl26-34 mark) as a hunter will have many important roles to play as in raids. You would be first preference in Crota's End to be the swordbearer (depending on level.) swordbearers are the people who will hit Crota with the sword and ultimately kill him. Also when you want to do the thrall maze, Hunters are preferred for there invisibility and speed. Titans: I don't have much experience with them so work with me here. Titans I would say are the easiest to use as they fly high have reasonable speed and are reliable in almost every situation of Crota's End. They have Ward of Dawn (Which is pretty much a OP bubble) that will protect you from inside it. If you do use a Titan, Defender class is preferred in a raid as it will benefit to the fireteam rather then killing few enemies bunched in a certain area. They are acceptable as a swordbearer due to there glide-y jump, they also can stop boomers (Watch a raid to understand it) with ward of dawn and focus the boomers attack on you rather then the swordbearer. Warlocks: I promise I wont be biased with this one (because warlocks are my favourite.) Warlocks are the same as Titans when it comes to being easy due to having glide. They have got good grenades (fusion grenade) that deals a fair amount of damage and are easy to hit people. Warlocks are good in quite a few situations in Crota's End. They are good at making the bridge because of resurrect super in the sub class Sunsinger. As far as Solo'ing goes for Crota's End it is really quite easy as if you have a Super and have fusion grenade combo you can take Crota's shield down with just grenades. This was very extensive and you may question my reasoning on talking about Crota's End more but while I was playing Crota's end was all I did. Ask questions if you need more answers because I started the first month of getting Destiny changing my character. BTW If you are on PS3 or PS4 add bfrizz31 and I will help you out by flying through Destiny's "story"
I tried to understand as much as I could but I think I'm going with the Titan or hunter (most likely hunter) But thank u for ur help :D I am on xbox one sry :/
I love my level 34 hunter :) However, I've had some fun with the other classes. Hunter is definitely the most diverse if you are an aggresively offensive player like I am, as it has 2 subclasses to pick from as well as invis.
Maybe I misunderstood you, but it sounds like you think Hunter is the only class with 2 subclasses?.. All classes have two, Striker and Defender for Titan, Voidwalker and Sunsinger for Warlock, And Gunslinger and Bladedancer for hunter. In the new DLC, each class will get a new subclass.
Yes, I know that each class has 2 subclasses. What I meant to say was that the Hunter's 2 subclasses are almost purely offensive, while having some quirks for strategic defensive play, while the Titan's Ward of Dawn bubble and the Warlock's Sunsinger, while being able to be used offensively, are generally more defensively based subclasses (although self-res sunsinger warlocks are very good offensively). Sorry for the confusion. I'm also aware of the fact that Hunter is getting a more support based subclass in the new DLC, while the Titan and Warlock are getting more offensive subclasses. Sorry for not being too clear on that xD Also, general side note for the thread, I generally like my Hunter the most as it is the most agile and it has invisibility, but I do really like Titan and Warlock as well. They are all very good choices. :)
I wouldn't recommend you getting Destiny, it's basically a very small game where you have to pay over $100 for more content.
