I know this from a YT video 5 years back! Denmark is because it is the first country people think about when you say "European country starts with D" and Elephant because it is the first circus animal what people think when you say "Circus animal that starts with E".

 

Yea, its an old trick but it still gets some people shocked when they hear it. I told it to my mom a couple of days ago and I had to explain it to her to get her out of her shock

G = Goat(Yes, a goat can be in a circus)
can be gray.

The only problem is: There have been gray goats in France, so this joke is broken :D
