United States - 2016 Race for the White House

I am aware of Trump's previous business history, and acknowledge that there was must corruption in his past. That is what it is though, the past, Mr. Trump is now trying to help the American People. Individuals want a candidate who is not going to be lobbied, which is exactly what Trump is.

 

I'm guessing you consider the past 5 years in the past? Because multiple times he has literally said "Invade so-and-so to take their oil." If you don't believe me, read it here.

 

Note: Trump was against moving into Iraq, but then, after Bush invaded, he said we should keep the oil. We didn't. Now look, it is in ISIS controlled territory.

 

But imagine if he said that if he moved troops somewhere. Don't you realize that the natives would fight back to save their resources? It's foreign ideas like this, the wall Mexico has to pay for, & how he thinks he can do better than the Chinese in business, that will make America's allies turn their back, and I don't see how it's acceptable or fair.

 

The U.S. is in debt to more than 8 trillion dollars to China alone. Trump is not an ideal person to handle this considering he couldn't handle his company's own debt.

 

Oh, and the president could handle this nations debt? President Obama has accumulated eight trillion dollars in debt in these six-seven years.

 

That actually isn't the case. He only accumulated 6 trillion. Not that it isn't a ton, but it's not as much as 8 trillion. This was a 58% debt increase. Compare that to bush's debt raise of 5.8 trillion, which nearly doubled our debt. Back to trump, I'm going to pull a bit of a snotty remark. Y'know how Trump said he likes his soldiers not captured? I like my presidents not bankrupt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

So, he accumulates more debt than President Bush, but in his 2008 campaign, criticizes Bush for his debt increase?

 

In other words, I don't think Obama is excused for raising our debt more, but I'm pointing out the debt increase from our past president as well. If anything, Bush was still worse than Obama. You can thank the Iraq & Afghanistan wars for that.

 

I'm not going to sit here and try and defend President Bush. No doubt, I will admit that he did some questionable things while holding office. President Obama though, has not proven to be any better.

 

If it weren't for Obama, the national debt would be approximately 20 trillion dollars. He lowered the rate by a lot. Trump however, isn't a person you would want to have control over the national treasury.

 

"Approximately twenty trillion." We're sitting at 18 trillion, who's to say what it will be at on January 20th 2017?

 

I meant the national debt to China, which is 8 trillion.

Ah, yes. Quick question, do you recall President Obama condemning the actions of President Bush, in having a credit card with the Bank of China, back when he was campaigning in 2008?

Okay, well while campaigning in 2008, then Senator Obama called out President Bush for having a credit card with the Bank of China, now, six years later, President Obama has done the same thing. Hypocrite.

 

Trump is more of a hypocrite. He claims that we need global warming, openly insults other people, claims wind turbines are bad and destroy the environment and hates gay people. Who's more of a hypocrite?

 

I'd say Obama.
